    I’d like to request that Grindr bring back the feature that allowed users to select their nationality and filter profiles based on nationality preferences. This feature was incredibly helpful for those of us who value cultural connection and feel more comfortable or interested in connecting with people from specific backgrounds.     Dear Grindr, we know you have a lot to offer us, but I ask for one thing that will help many! I really like people, but I have an ethnic preference, I like black guys and that makes me feel passionate; Could you add ethnicity to the filters? If the person is white, Asian, black, etc.

    Please, I need black friends or a boyfriend, but all I see are white people! :(

    Grindr should introduce a verified profile system to enhance user safety and security. Many users frequently encounter fake profiles, catfishing attempts, and scams, which create an unsafe environment on the app. Without a proper verification process, anyone can create an account using false information, leading to deceptive interactions that put users at risk. Implementing a verification feature would significantly reduce these issues and build a more trustworthy community.

  8. Coding for distance is jacked up in Hawaii

    I live in area code 96720, which is on the Big Island of Hawaii.

    The app should display profiles located closest to me first, followed by those farther and farther away. Instead, it'll show the first couple of profiles closest to my location, then it'll populate a profile that's 200+ miles away, in Oahu, followed by the next closest profiles in my location, then it'll throw in another one or two profiles 200 miles away.

    e.g.

    Profile 1 - 1 mile away
    Profile 2 - 1.2 miles away
    Profile 3 - 206 miles away
    Profile 4 - 1.3 miles away…

  11. Unlock posts in Explore.

    Why was the explore accounts changed from 3 unlockable accounts to just 1? Like why are you trying to ruin the experience? Why can't we simply be able to freely chat to accounts in explore?
    Or at least give us back 3 a day.

    Numerous ideas regarding your ridiculously expensive subscription has been ignored. Thats why people are going to other platforms like sniffies among others.   19. Bring back Blocking (What is Masking?)

    Where is the Blocking feature, and what does new Maskng mean? Is it the same? How can I unmask somebody? Masked profiles do not show up on the Blocked list.

    Blocking is crucial in dating apps.

  20. None of the recent changes have enhanced my experience with this app. In fact the changes are a huge turn off and annoying.

    I don’t use the shuffle because it is too random and too far away. The suggested users is a joke none are my type and the distance is random. The boost doesn’t deserve a prominent space and the roam is not a worthwhile function for the money. The new right now function is redundant. Most people use this app for rn. Sniffles is starting to be more appealing.
