Mock location
but why did you prohibit the fictitious positions? what does privacy have to do with mock locations? I live in a big city and thanks to mock locations I met my ex boyfriends who otherwise I would never have chatted with since they didn't show up nearby. this is no longer a dating app but only to steal money. your subscription is ridiculously expensive! Do you understand that everyone is complaining?

Require Verification for Social Media
Too many fake accounts are catfishing by listing other people’s social media on their accounts, and there is absolutely nothing holding them back.
To list a social media account, you should have to log in through the app to verify that the account is yours.

Gender Filter
I get that Grindr wants to be inclusive and what not but alright it’s easy to ween out the females but there’s LITERALLY heterosexual males on the app blantly being rude and disrespectful about not being interested in men and only wants Trans/mtf/crossdressers on their profile. Cool you guys added gender filters to “help” us find the people we’re interested in but the way the filter is set up is a one way deadend change. Get rid of fake profiles
Sick and tired of all the fake profiles, paying member and the site is unusable as its just people pretending to be someone they are not.
Grindr needs to impose verified scheme like that of scruff.

People use the block button way too fast... Maybe innovate a feature where messages to someone that has blocked you go into a special file.
Maybe you can develop a special feature where if you message someone that has blocked you it goes into a special folder that can still notify the person that's blocked you that you have sent a couple messages and they could be limited... But first they are screened for any negativity or cruel intent first as a suggestion... But it could be a way for misunderstandings to be cleared up and keep people from treating each other as disposable... Delete taps! This function as "hi" and 😈 + 🔥 is bad for communication. Before this feature the app used to be pretty social and you could talk to people. Please, erase this function from the app. ✌️

Tell us when a reported user is removed from the site
I've had far too many men older more than thrice my age ask me to whip it out as an opener, and call me a slur when they don't get what they want. Tell me when these sleazy creeps get off my queer sex space after I report them, we all deserve the comfort to know when it's safe to come back to the app.

App notification
Please have more options for sent notification sound for tapping and sending messages. Also, more themes for and modifications on the color of the text box messeages like messenger so it wont be awkward using it in public. Thanks. .

Show a verified user badge on accounts who upload a clear face image like the scruff app now has so that people know the image on your profile has been verified to be you it will stop all the imposters

The ‘ban’ system is broken and abused
The ‘ban’ system is broken and abused. I was permanently banned because someone I turned down politely reported me for harassment! They were even rude to me for not wanting them. When I tried to appeal, I was told no information will be given and im banned.

Grifters
Too many fake accounts are allowed to send messages from hundreds of miles away.
Allow a setting for no messages from X number of miles, or automatically flag accounts that send out 30 messages in 30 minutes, or flag accounts that get three blocks on the day they are created.

Android/IOS price
i just switched from Android to IPhone, there is a huge difference of price almost 70% and that is not fair, please make it more affordable for IPhone users

That I can not use a non nude pic on my profile
It would be good if I can post a pic of my body wearing underwear but apparently this is not allowed as my photo keeps getting rejected but im not nude. 🤷🏻♀️
