Get rid of Madonna, please.
Just because we're gay doesn't mean we want a pop Diva in the app. Honestly, what's the point. She's just a washed up has-been who's trying to stay relevant in today's world.

Get rid of new favorites filter
The new favorites filter that moves the favorites button to the filters bar and applies active filters to favorites is hard to use.
It’s slower. I can’t filter by notes anymore, which sucks. And I don’t like that my active filters are applied to my favorites— I use active filters to find new guys. Guys that I’ve already added to favorites don’t need to be filtered.

Paid user shouldn’t have adverts
Paid members should not be seeing adverts after they paid not to. Worse again they should not be seeing advertisements from artists, companies, health services or even Grindr themselves. The only exception to this should be and advertisement to say locally to the user (geolocation) a new vaccine has been released or serious outbreak has been identified. We pay for no advertisements, we do not want advertisements forced down our necks ESPECIALLY Madonna who’s only using gays for a payday, it’s a shameless collaboration. From a backend and front end standpoint this is an extremely simple implementation and can be…

Why are there so many adds with grindr unlimited?!?! Stop it.
The amount of adds being pushed at me, all from grindr itself, while paying for unlimited is obnoxious. Stop it.

Spam is out of control
I'm getting about five or six spam taps and/or messages every day. The developers need to do a much better job of restricting these profiles. For example: if a new profile send a bunch of taps in a very short time; if a profile jumps location too quickly (i.e. location spoofing); if they have "visit my socials" in their bio, or is just a straight up "go to my website" message, etc.
There is plenty that grindr COULD be doing to stop this.

Too many women
Since when did Grindr become an app for straight men and women?? The whole point was that it was for gay men looking for other gay men. A large number of the “women” actually appear to be scams trying to steal your money or data, but that’s not the point. Get rid of all the women on the app for gay men. I understand bisexual men looking for other men to join them and their partners; that’s not the issue. I am in no way interested in women sexually and it also makes Grindr feel like it is no longer…

There is no way to move forward from having the Madonna Color icon instead of traditional yellow. You are prompted to change it upon loading
I should have an option whether or not to have a PINK icon for Madonna. The app loads with the box for it but only lights up the “Adjust” button which then forces you to change your icon. I don’t need a discreet icon. I want the original icon available.

Unlimited “no more ads”, get rid of Madonna
I paid for Unlimited for no ads, so why is my app covered in Madonna ads?

Maybe don't make the Madonna ad look like an actual online profile?
Also, maybe don't make the ad autoplay audio that basically explains to the people around you that you are, in fact, on grindr trolling for ass. I'm openly gay, but I don't necessarily want random people I'm standing in line to know I'm currently trying to fuck someone. I know you people are astoundingly stupid and out of touch, but this is new level of completely screwing the product in order to make a quick buck.

Madonna promotion, please remove it
I have Grindr unlimited and I get this kind of unsolicited spam. The free version is already full of those shit advertisements, does this have to be done in the paid version as well?

Make it Cheaper
Definitely make it cheaper way to expensive plus having the ads when you're using free version the making money from that should make it cheaper

Bring back the old blocking button. The Hide function is ridiculous. It doesn't even work, the profile stays on the grid, taps + messages.
The old block button was much safer and user friendly then the new hide option. The hide button doesn't even work. If you hide a profile they stay on your grid, there taps and messages are still there, if they were in your favourites list they stay in your favourites list. So it's a completely redundant option as it doesn't actually hide anything.
Removing the option to block people, makes Grindr unsafe. If it's not returned I'll be deleting and never using this app again. We should have the option to block people for our own safety on a social…

Race/Ethnicity filter is Convenient not Hateful.
There should be a race filter /ethnicity filter. It may lead to many profiles being missed out on just because ppl may not fill up this information in their profiles settings. That may be a downside. Mixed ethnicity profiles and no race / ethnicity profiles shud by default appear in all race searches.
This is not hateful or racist.this is just convenient. One may want to have a black season followed by a white season and vice versa. This is not hateful. A real racist would anyways not want to seek another race they are biased against. and in a…14 votes -
What did you do to favourites!?
Now I can only view all favourites if I turn all filters off... Please roll back this part of your update and rethink it, it's a horrible user experience.
