HARASSING FAKE PROFILES
There's too many fake profiles. Everyday I am bombarded with taps and messages requesting I join their only fans. Please add more keywords to the block list. Like OF only fans website socials and .com

Only fans, spam, filters, glitches
I subscribe to unlimited yet it’s getting harder and harder to find my type. Only fans and spams wanting me to go to sex websites are constantly in my messages and taps! People who I’m not interested in are tapping and messaging me. And the glitches in messaging and “online people” are ridiculous. Dating apps are suppose to filter what you are into yet Grindr wants to show u everyone. That’s not being inclusive at all! Profiles that say not into MEN! Then why are they on my grid! Ban trading sex for Only fans subscription.
ONLY fans traders ask people to subscribe for their external paid services (i.e. Only fans page) in exchange for sex or scheduling sex with them. The subscribers become victims of a fraud which start at Grindr. The dialogues containing any conditioning to sex in exchange for subscription or money should be equally banned as escort services. They ruin the community and waste a lot of time. You have to choose between sex and business unless Grindr is willing to be degraded to the level of prostitution hub.

Bots
This app is full of bots taking up spaces on my timeline then there are the messages from fake profiles promoting porn sites My view is these are from Grindr to push users having to see the adverts for crap apps It really is making Grindr unusable

Dump the foreign bots
It is increasingly useless to even use the app because each time I login within seconds I get 5+ bots or foreign accounts claiming close proximity.
I understand that it would be incredibly difficult to try and keep them in check but I offer up two simple solutions. Since VPNs make it hard to accurately track a user location I would first see if their ip address location changes drastically from time to time then make them first pass a ‘r u human’ test the next time they want to send a message. Stop unwanted spam messages from transgender and only fans members
I would like to have a feature that can stop all messages from people over a specific distance from my current location. This would certainly help to limit the spam from transgender and only fans members that only message me for the purposes of subscribing to their page or advertise their services and content. App full of glitches and bugs
App is full of glitches! It pings & indicates someone tapped me, shows a red dot 🔴 on taps, but when you go to see, there is nothing! Same for messages!

We need a way to stop audio of Madonna announcing we’re on Grinder. This is CRITICAL. This violates privacy, is INAPPROPRIATE, and doesn’t at all fall in line with your safety and privacy policy you advertise on the app. You have NO right to “Out” UNSUSPECTING people -paid subscription or not. There is NO warning, NO way the shut it off and NO regard for those of us who pay for this and entrust you with our money and images. Please, please listen to us when we tell you we DON’T want this.

Can there be lower prices for premium memberships? This would allow more people to join in and create revenue by volume not by price.
Lower prices would mean more volume of sales and increase production by at least 50% year over year and have access to more services as a free option too that will allow people to test out the products and then make the purchase.

Age filter
Earlier I could filter any age group in the age like 18-18, 21-23, but now if I want to set an age it is fixed at at gap of 6 like 26-31 and it doesn't go any lower like just 1/2/3/4/5 age gap. That's ridiculous. I am forced to see people of age I don't want to.

I pay Grindr XTRA. Why I have to see the Madonna ads? This is a violation of my contract since I'm a paying user. Remove all the Madonna things. Or at lest let me block her profile, or her ads. I've watched them a million times already: if I wanted to hear her music I would have by now.

Unlimited Explore Profiles! Bring back
The Explore feature used to let us view and chat with UNLIMITED PROFILES— now, even as PAYING USERS, we’re restricted to just 5 profiles a day. What used to be one of the best parts of Grindr now feels like a downgrade, and it kills the value of the subscription. Bring back unlimited Explore!

Make the app actually work
Since the last update the app is worse than before. Extremely unresponsive. Messages being sent but not shown at all. Receiving 3 notifications for the same tap and no notifications for messages, or notifications after 3 minutes the message was sent. Taps appearing after 10 minutes. The current update on iphone has made it even less responsive than before with huge delays even when sending a simple message.

Spammers
Block Spam by introducing spam control measures! Spam bots don't register a in the viewed you tab. Silently introduce an anti spam feature where you cannot tap, message or do anything until you've spent atleast 5 seconds viewing their profile, or enough time that you would have atleast registered as 'viewed me' in the event they are 'incognito'. Additionally, introduce a feature where you can't tap or message a new profile within 60 seconds of tapping or within 3 minutes of messaging someone.

Remove audio greeting that force plays even in silent mode when you open the app
You are not allowed to force play a damn audio file when I open your app, with my phone on silent mode, announcing that I just opened Grindr to the whole room. In what alternate universe was it a good idea in anyone’s head to announce that someone is opening the Grindr app?
