    Buy Grindr stock then participate in the quarterly meetings! Despite not giving a crap about the users, the Grindr owners certainly care about their shareholders.. who they have made a LOT of money as of late.. likely in advance of selling to Match

    W F - you have no idea what she's doing behind the scenes - if you check out her LinkedIn you'll see that moderating these posts is only one of her responsibilities. Regardless - they're a tech company and you're probably not a majority shareholder.. you're not going to instigate policy change by attacking the identity of their choice of personnel to complete certain tasks - particularly if their underlying goals include inclusion.

    Regardless, you're conflating issues here - this is a thread any the race filter, nothing to do with gender.

    Please read the following paper. The well-intentioned removal of this feature has NOT had the effect we hoped it would, I think we can all agree there. In fact, there are compelling arguments to support the idea that its removal has had negative impacts on users of color.

    As an aside - to all those trying to say a cis woman shouldn't work as a moderator here... Check out her LinkedIn.. she's an astoundingly qualified human.. also not a moderator.. get your facts straight and try to avoid the ad-hominem attacks if you actually want to get a point across 👍
