Let me control who can see me
Some users might not want to interact with profiles with certain parameters. For example, maybe a University professor doesn't want to be seen by anyone under 21 so they can avoid their students. Or maybe someone looking for strictly friends only doesn't want to be seen by anyone who isn't also looking for new friends. With this kind of control over who can see you, users can avoid unwanted contact with other users.

Being able to control who can see my profile is an important aspect in the online world. In the context of education, quality resources like https://startup.info/make-room-for-your-dreams-with-the-best-write-my-essay-for-me-services/ also play an important role. They allow us to focus on our goals by putting part of the creative process in the hands of professionals, which creates additional space for our educational growth and development.

I know many guys who definitively abandoned grindr because they were bored to be continuously contacted by people with twice their age despite having written in their bio "I'm looking for contemporaries". Moreover it annoys me when a person does not read the details on my profile immediately sending me hot photos when I specified that I don't want to receive hot photos. On other apps, for example tinder, you can start a conversation only after a mutual approval, in fact there are no people annoying me, and to obtain a similar level of protection on grindr it would be advisable to be able to choose in which population segment make yourself visible and in which one no, based on the already existing parameters such as age, ethnicity, looking for, position. The possibility of verifying the authenticity of the photos set in the profile with a simple live photo would also be very welcome, in order to obtain a badge to give certainties to the recipient and discourage more and more fake profiles.

If you do this, you should tell people the percentage of people who are not seeing them & why. Why pay the same price if I am screened out by 25% of users, end up communicating with more fake profiles trying to avoid being filtered, serial profile deleters, flakes, and still get pics of a gaping, dripping hole in lieu of “hello”. And if you are going to allow filtering by every characteristic, drop the BS looking for networking, chat, and friends labels. Have you ever met anyone who categorically will not speak to someone over 155 lbs?

Yes please. It is very uncomfortable to receive a message by someone twice your age that they saw you in public and wanna f* you. Please let us control who can see our profiles.

I should (as a paying customer) specify who sees my profile. I do not want lurkers (blank profile and no face pic people) to see my profile. I also only want to see and be seen by gay men's profiles. Basically, any parameter that we can enter should be able to be used to filter out who can see our information: Face pic, Profile Pic, Age, Weight, Height, Ethnicity, Orientation, etc...

Any thing asked on our profile should be an option for us to restrict viewers. Height, weight, age, race, sexial orientation, serial preference ,status, all of it. If its needed to attract viewers it should allowed to be used to restrict viewers as well.

My taps and messages get clogged up with guys that are just too young or thin trying to reach out to me.

I like the idea of keeping certain ages of people that I do not care for from seeing my profile.
The one caveat is the people who are allowed to put 99 years old as a label for a drug dealer or 69 years old as a joke. So it isn't going work unless Gridr stops the circumventing of age filters. -

Yes I like this feature also show my profile by distance. Let’s say I don’t want to be seen by 1 km around

Not the brightest idea. It promotes discrimination and it closes doors instead of opening them.
There's not much difference between a personable/attractive 21-year-old and a personable/attractive 23-year-old. There's not much difference between a nice 39-year-old and a nice 32-year-old.
The age boundaries are totally arbitrary.
Most of us probably are wrong by 5 or 10 years when we look at a person's face/body and try to guess how old they are.

Add a filter to your profile to only allow selected people to view your profile. For example, I only want 23-32 year olds to be able to see my profile, my location and whether or not I’m online.
