Bring bag old Favorites Menu
The new arrangement of the favorites must be undone. The favorites need their own window again, independent of the other profiles.

REMOVE THIS DAMN GRUNTING Noise
I don’t know what Product Owner/Manager thought this stupid grunting noise up but they should be fired immediately. It’s just not needed. How about you fix it so when someone taps you, you get a damn tap noise again not this stupid garbage that you say you can shutoff but I only see a choice for all sound and I don’t want to shut off all sound. Bring back the old blocking button. The Hide function is ridiculous. It doesn't even work, the profile stays on the grid, taps + messages.
The old block button was much safer and user friendly then the new hide option. The hide button doesn't even work. If you hide a profile they stay on your grid, there taps and messages are still there, if they were in your favourites list they stay in your favourites list. So it's a completely redundant option as it doesn't actually hide anything.
Removing the option to block people, makes Grindr unsafe. If it's not returned I'll be deleting and never using this app again. We should have the option to block people for our own safety on a social…

Update screwup
Every update makes this app worse. Today’s update erased all my favourites notes. Thanks idiots!!
When you send a pic in a DM now, and then go back to the grid, when you return to the DM the photos are gone. When you send a message it briefly shows like the message has been received. Getting notification sounds but no messages. The list goes on. What a fuckup!!!!418 votes -
Blocked Chat Retention
Recently was assaulted by someone met of Grindr. After the incident I was blocked by the assailant and I no longer had the chats as evidence. If someone blocks you it shouldn't delete the chat stream. Delete media and pics maybe, but leave the chats.

Change favourites back
The new favourites filter has made it difficult as the profiles are smaller and they are not arranged by distance either. I have to actively add them into my filter to find them now, which takes away viewing people in the area.
I prefer it the way it was with a separate tab down the bottom where you can easily find it. Far more user friendly as it was.36 votes -

The hide button is replacing the block button, but it is in the way so you can't block because it's not avaliable anywhere most of the time, but the hide option doesn't work or do anything without and upgrade, so it isn't even an available feature but it is completely preventing you from being able to use the already existing and very necessary feature of blocking profiles. This is very bad and needs to be amended immediately!

Allow mock locations, please!
If you happen to live in an isolated rural area, having the ability to place yourself in a town or more populated área with the help of a mock GPS allows you to connect with a variety.of people whom you may meet later when the opportunity arises.
I see nothing wrong with using mock locations. It harms no one and it can help a lot. It is a way to meet people from different places. In places where gay people are persecuted a mock GPS may be a life saver!

Restore favorites feather as it was before the last update
This “favorites” feature should not be reserved for xtra users and was much more useful and appropriate with its own page and without separating those who post their location from those who don't. This reform of the favorites system is unnecessary and very annoying. Moreover, it does absolutely nothing to protect users confidentiality. Please take this in consideration and return the system to the way it was before the update.

Grindr Gay vs Grindr Other Genders
Have a toggle so that people can select the genders they are attracted to. This is primarily a gay dating app. Frankly there should be an app that can house those that are looking for CD / Trans / MF Couples. Until then, add the toggle so I don’t have to waste my time blocking people to free up space bc your Xtra memberships are too expensive to just scroll & ignore.
