I HATE the message indicator reflecting Alist changes
I HATE the message indicator reflecting Alist changes. This broke the usability of the app. I now can’t tell if i got a new message. This is soo frustrating that I turned off AList to get rid of it. Horrible!

Stop Sharing Album with Everyone
A button to stop sharing your album with everyone at one time. At the moment, you have to select people individually (of which I have hundred and hundreds) or you can delete the album entirely. Feels like a quick fix, but a big win.

Your ads are too much and prices too high
Your ads won’t make me purchase a plan, I’ve been actively looking for a better ap so I can leave grindr all together. It’s become a burden to use

Combine conversations and profiles when more then one user is together and looking for more to join !!!

Stop ads in messenger.
They make it harder to report spam. I will not be submitting spam any longer as i have to view ads to help your app.
I can't help you if you are punishing me by making me watching ad before I can post spam you need to take care of.

Why make people log into a different account to submit ideas?
It is crazy, but in order to submit an idea to Grindr we have to go and use the third-party application. Even with all the up votes, it’s clear that Grindr doesn’t want to take any action to make this a more usable app.
It’s almost as if you’re saying… Screw the users… Let’s focus on over advertising

General user experience
The whole use of experience of Grindr has got worse and worse. There are too many ads. There are too many scammers. There are too many fake accounts. These are so obvious and yet Grindr chooses to do nothing about it.
With the amount of genetic AI and generative AI that’s available, you should fire your head of development and use experience and get new people in to make the app more usable.
So many other people have said it so I’ll say it again… This app is becoming a pile of garbage

Allow grindr on the web for everyone!
Grindr need to be allowed across the bored for web access! Living a a low populated area there no need for me to pay for unlimited access but still nice you have access wether I have the app or not. Times I don’t have access to my phone! Been long user but grindr penalizes the no paying users just because there greedy!

Biggest pain point: Performance and spam

Thank you for creating a space where we can share feedback — I appreciate the effort being put into improving the app.
That said, the biggest issue I’m currently facing is a combination of sluggish performance and ongoing problems with spam or fake accounts.
Performance: The app often feels slow or unresponsive, especially when opening chats, loading profiles, or switching between tabs. Even on a relatively new device with a strong internet connection, the lag can be noticeable. It affects the overall experience and makes everyday use frustrating at times.

Make it possible to view expired taps or (some) extra profiles etc through watching an ad.

I believe that Grindr has deliberately been overrated since transgender/CD( female impersonator)s were allowed to post their interests. ...
Wasn't Grindr originally designed for gay men looking for men, period?
The hassle of blocking unwanted profiles the amount of time to make an honest connection with some guy on Grindr discourages any affinity for me to even find someone., 😓2 votes -

Can we please have a way to turn on the ‘come on over’ notification without having to completely turn off the sound on the app?
There is a new temporary DM notification that says ‘come on over’ versus the standard sound. If your sound is on it’s now the temporary default sound. Can we have a way to select whether or not it’s wanted or select a different sound without having to completely turn the sound off?
