2. I keep having to hide profiles of same women with multiple profiles

   I keep having to hide profiles with women with multiple women with the same photo on multiple profiles every day they fill up the grid there could be eighteen profiles of the same photo with the same woman do something about this grinder it's annoying grinder is getting bad with this

4. Quickly report & block spam

   This is similar to another submission, but goes a bit further, so I thought I should add it.
   It takes 7 clicks to report and block a spam profile. Some steps are slow.
   Sometimes it is necessary to report a number of identical or very similar spam profiles to make the Grindr grid even usable again!
   The normal Grindr Hiding doesn't seem to work for travelling, roaming or boosted profiles. It only works for profiles that are indeed actually nearby. Spam profiles are not actually nearby, just appear so, so therefore normal Hiding doesn't work. The only option that works is to report spam and hide - and that is very painful to do multiple times.
   Also, whenever you report a profile, afterwards the grid always resets back to the top, so to report the next spam, you have to scroll back down to wherever you were before.
   We really need a fast ReportSpam&Hide method - eg. you highlight all spam profiles (just like long-press delete mode in messages screen) and the one click just reports & hides them all.

   Related:
   When a user reports multiple spam profiles, it seems unfair the ad down count down timer still runs - so you may have to sit through multiple ads, some deliberately very painful to exit, as you report spam profiles for Grindr's benefit.
   Please hold or backup the ad timer when users are reporting.

5. Adds removes completely free version unless wanting to unlock features only. Non disruptive adds.

   So each time I get a message or notification and as I go to open the message to see the pics sent or reply, opening the app triggers advertising that renders the app useless until I go and close out the app and restart.

   When these ads pop up I find it's always at the halfway mark of my typing a reply that now there's an advertisement taking the whole screen and I can't find it's 'x'. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a pixel 8 pro and I can never get the tiny stupid x crammed in the utmost unreachable corner of my screen. So there I go as fast as I can to exit the app to home screen, open all the apps running, and slide it off the screen like a pain in the ass. Then my message I was replying with and whatever I wanted to say is gone, not in the text field anymore and after selecting the message thread it almost always prompts a new advertisement to pop up. F$+&!!!
   .... That said I already am on free version(embarrassing, I know), and I can't ever reply to the new pics some stud a few hundred feet away has sent and his profile is traveling so it's priority right? I just give up and shut the app. Why? His messages lead up to me needing to be a good submissive little slut that will make sure I sub his only fans to keep messaging on that platform after screenshot is sent that I subbed. Before meeting only. I never would but his self soon is 4139 miles away a few minutes later. Ugh. This happens well 7 out of 10 times when opening the app. Why not try making right now a feature that you unlock by using an advertisement you watch, and then and only there will an advertisement with an easy exit button available in the middle center screen he played. Aren't adds not really necessary at this point if we can't use the app anyway? Even if I was a curious bill gates and could afford the unlimited, I'd still be not using grindr. Free is fucking better always and it's more likely my chrome browser gets me paid on a sniffley cough cough haha get it I'm a little sick of these limits I don't want to exist. 8. The filter function

   The filter function seems not working with sense.
   Designer with sense will know if you are applying a filter it means you are narrowing down the results. But when you apply the filter Grindr not only narrowing the results but reducing the results as it like. This does makes sense why without any filter the results are more but with any filter the results are much more lesser. For example age filter.
   I hope the designer for Grindr will work with some sense rather than ruining or chasing away the users.

9. Real Reputation on Grindr: No More Fakes, Lies, or Time Wasters!

   Everyone who uses Grindr knows there are lots of great people out there, but also too many fakes, liars, and time wasters. My idea is simple: create a reputation system inside the app. After chatting with someone, users could anonymously rate if that person is real and respectful, flaky or misleading, or just completely fake. These anonymous ratings would automatically build a kind of trust score. If most recent interactions show that a profile is fake or unreliable, a small warning icon could appear on it. On the other hand, users who are genuine and respectful would earn a positive badge showing that they’re trustworthy. This would save everyone time, make interactions safer, and create a more honest and enjoyable experience for the whole community. In short, Grindr with reputation means Grindr with truth.

    The panels that show who is in other cities is pointless. If I'm in the UK, I really don't care who's online in Washington, Sydney or Chicago. Please either relocate this to a separate screen, or add a settings option which allows us to hide the suggestions.

    Take all of your algorithms and AI and instead of stalking and targeting those of us trying to use the app as intended....how about you actively focus on eliminating the BS, the FO requests, the solicitations and links to other sites...instead of just saying you are trying. YOU ARE NOT MAKING ANY EFFORT....it is worse than ever! And while you are at it...YES, advertising may be necessary...but the sneaky ads that are impossible to close are engineered that way....there is no accident here. All this tech you make us sign off that we accept and instead of making the platform better....you effectively use it against us, your users. Remember, without us....there is no you!

16. Only fully completed profiles should be allow to chat with other completed profiles

    Only allow completed users profiles (basic demographic data and a real picture, we can identify fakes with AI in no time so there's no excuse for profiles pictures getting approved with landscapes) profiles that are not completed can not communicate with profiles that have the data on their profile. Its very annoying to being increpated with a blank profile asking several questions about myself when I don't even know what kind of potential creep is looking at my profile.

17. Keep conversation after being blocked

    When someone blocks you, the conversation immediately disappears. Bad actors have used that to say hateful or threatening things and then quickly block you before you can report them. It means that dangerous people can use your platform unchecked. That isn't okay. Change it to be like Facebook, where you cannot message someone who has contacted them but they can't just block you to avoid being reported.

    It’s really not that hard to detect a conversation where the first message is a web link and suspend the related account, is it?!

    It would be great if the Grindr product managers pulled their heads out of their asses and did the bare minimum to stop spammers before they annoy everyone. Users aren't (only) cash cows, respect their time and experience.

20. Bring back AT LEAST one free explore chat

    Being back free explore with 1 free profile unlock! This app is already buggy and hard to find people to connect with, we should be able to at least be able to view profiles in explore. The free version of this app isn’t even worth the effort anymore.
