HATE THE NEW FAVORITES LAYOUT!
I hate the new favorites layout there was nothing wrong with the old one. The new favorites layout makes me not want to use the app you can’t even see people’s distances anymore ! BRING THE OLD ONE BACK ASAP!

Ban people who send website links in the first message
The spammers are usually just sending a link in the first message with a conversation with a new person. If there is a way to track a new user's message activity and how many times they are sending links in the few messages with other users, shouldn't it be easy to block them off the platform?

Remove Boost ads!
Create an option to opt out of Boost ads. The constant ads are annoying! You charge a premium price to be an unlimited subscriber. One of the benefits is sup6to be an ad free experience but you are constantly pushing Boost with ads! Allow an opt out of these ads!

Mock location
Without the simulated location feature, grindr would really be a boring, useless application, even causing users to reveal personal information about their own location, endangering themselves. so i canceled grindr's xtra package and will use my money on another dating app, grindr admins are really stupid to ban the use of location simulator

PLEASE Let me filter out trans, women, non-binary, and men in dresses.
Grindr, please show you actually care about your actual member base -- the folks who made you popular. If you are going to insist on making the gay app into a tranny utopia, at least give us the filter to remove them.

Regional pricing
Please consider setting up regional pricing. Prices for Eastern Europe countries are ridiculously high. You can get Amazon Prime for a year with what one month costs on Grindr. To get fair prices based on average wages for Poland in comparison to USA, they need to be cut by 50% at least. Thanks for understanding.

Oral Sex Should Be A Preference
Not every gay man fits into that box of top bottom or versatile. Some of us prefer oral sex or masturbation over penetration sex. I'm not judging others and personally am not opposed to anal sex but it would be nice to hage the option added into a person's profile if they would rather not include penetrative sex as their identity.

Country filter
A simple solution would be on signup it will use your current location as your home Country and/or have you choose your Country of residence. From there you add a filter option that reads something like 'only show people in the same Country". For those living in border cities who can deal with cross-border travel and would like to have the option, just leave the filter unchecked. For the rest of us in border cities who do not want to see people in their neighboring country, the filter can then be used and only show people in the user's home…

Fix your notifications
For these high prices fix your app. For 1 tap I receive 3-6 messages notifications about that 1 tap. If someone sends me a message I also receive that same notification 2-6 times. Once for 3 different taps and 4 messages and 6 photos sent to me I received 36 messaged notifications. I do not pay to use this app so that I can get false notifications and deal with the annoyance. Reduce the terrible, excessive, constant, annoying, awful ad space
I get it, nobody wants to pay the excessive monthly fees for borderline basic features but shoving ads down a users throat in every angle of the UI is not the move. Find a better strategy to generate revenue.

Trans women/ women/ MF couples
There needs to be a filter option to block or hide trans women/ women or MF couples.. I’m not transphobic at all. This app has always been a primarily gay men’s app and now seeing 25% women every time I open my app even if I spend most my time blocking the trans members… I personally DO NOT want to see women on my app when I’m paying 40$ a month to use the app.. Why cant I search my notes anymore?!
We used to be able to fav a profile, write notes, and then later go into our favs and search our favorites based on the notes we wrote. Now our only filter option on our favs is whether or not a fav-ed profile has a note?!
WHO DECIDED TO DO THIS?! Why would you remove such good functionality? How are we supposed to search through our ever increasing size of fav-ed profiles if we can't rely on our notes to search through it?!?!

Photo Verification
So many scammers nowadays, they will started with a ‘hi’ and ask our preferences (boyfriend or friend), then they will tell that it’s not convenient to talk through this app. I don’t know what they are up to, but it’s getting annoying and very exhausting. I am trying to find the real ones here, not a scammers. Please do some kind of verification to prove that the owner of the account is the real person and not a scammer, maybe you can start with a ‘photo verification’, to check if the person is real or not. Blocks don’t work
Now you can’t even click on the first “viewed me” profile to block the creeps looking at your profile. That’s the first issue for blocks.
Secondly, everytime I click back into the app, the people that I’ve blocked before reappear.
This needs to be fixed immediately. It won’t allow for a comfortable experience if my creepy neighbors just reappear everytime.

Social Media Filter
Include a filter to display profiles who have their social media connected. It would be better if we could filter by specific type, so if you're looking for Twitter and Insta, you don't see the profiles with only Spotify connected.
