4. Add a new “Chaser” tribe

   I think it’s time for Grindr to be more inclusive with a part of the community that is always left aside, the Chubby, Bears, etc… Adding “Chaser” as a tribe would make everything easier for us since other gay apps dedicated to Bears and Chasers are not really famous in some places.

5. Restore “Report a Recent Chat” feature

   You list “Report a Recent Chat” as a security option, but your instructions are outdated or inaccurate because ”Report a Recent Chat” is not listed under Settings, as you claim it is. Someone is currently trying to extort me that I met through your app, and I should have the ability to report him. It was a recent chat. Also, in general: require a verification for everyone (even DL guys, which this app caters to too much in lieu of safety). Ban people who are known cat fishers from creating multiple accounts.

9. "For You" grid is useless at the moment

   "For You" grid should take into account hashtags and filters. I have my age filter set to 40+ because I have zero interest in younger but every single profile highlighted in the "For You" grid is under 30. As it is right now, it's just noise and another block to ignore like inline ads.

10. Trans women/ women/ MF couples

    There needs to be a filter option to block or hide trans women/ women or MF couples.. I’m not transphobic at all. This app has always been a primarily gay men’s app and now seeing 25% women every time I open my app even if I spend most my time blocking the trans members… I personally DO NOT want to see women on my app when I’m paying 40$ a month to use the app.. Every profile tile that displays a women is a space where a gay man could be and I find it offensive that I’m even seeing women. This goes against everything that gay men are and personally is insulting because being gay is not a choice and a women in a gay app makes it sound like we’re back to being told that being gay is a choice rather than being born gay. GAY men made this app as popular as it is today and this app should understand and respect our community by at the very least creating a filter to hide women from our view especially if we’re paying for a membership! THIS IS A GAY APP. I feel like Grindr is exploiting its gay community users to fetish M/F couples and trans users who think that sleeping with gay men is a trend or fetish. GRINDR was popularized by the Gay community and that needs to be respected. Trans- genderism is not a sexual orientation. If they want to be trans they are with women or men and they need their own app or there needs to be a filter for those of us who do not want to see or pay to see women in our gay app

11. PLEASE Let me filter out trans, women, non-binary, and men in dresses.

    Grindr, please show you actually care about your actual member base -- the folks who made you popular. If you are going to insist on making the gay app into a tranny utopia, at least give us the filter to remove them.

    • I don't like men who have no penises (they're not men, btw).
    • I don't like men who want to be women and wear dresses (that's offensive to real women).
    • I only want to talk with gay men, yet you're forcing me to be rude by immediately blocking men when I see them in panties.

    Wake up, Grindr. This is very frustrating.

    By keeping the trans stuff, you're insulting those who made you popular. You're insulting actual women. You're contributing to the unethical "conversion" of gay men by suggesting they're actually women (this is no better than christian conversion, btw).

    I'm a paid member and have been for years. Recently you banned my account because of the profile words "not really into trans" (how much nicer should I put it??). You won't let me state that I'm not into trans and then you push it onto me by not letting me filter them out.

    You are literally attempting to force gay me (95% of us) to embrace trans and non-binary. This is offensive and disrespectful to everyone involved.

    Create an option to opt out of Boost ads. The constant ads are annoying! You charge a premium price to be an unlimited subscriber. One of the benefits is sup6to be an ad free experience but you are constantly pushing Boost with ads! Allow an opt out of these ads!

    So many scammers nowadays, they will started with a ‘hi’ and ask our preferences (boyfriend or friend), then they will tell that it’s not convenient to talk through this app. I don’t know what they are up to, but it’s getting annoying and very exhausting. I am trying to find the real ones here, not a scammers. Please do some kind of verification to prove that the owner of the account is the real person and not a scammer, maybe you can start with a ‘photo verification’, to check if the person is real or not. Or maybe any other verification would do. Thanks and have a great day team!
