   While we are having heated debates about the ethnicity filter and app features, I was thinking: what if Grindr integrated some fun elements to keep the community engaged?
   For example, a rhythm-based mini-game similar to Friday Night Funkin. Imagine having a "rap battle" feature or FNF-style stickers to break the ice with a match! Friday Night Funkin' has a huge, diverse community and its colorful aesthetic could really brighten up the UI while we wait for these major filter updates. What do you guys think? 4. Screen your profiles better

   You need to do a better job screening out the spammers from your profiles. And all the fake profiles that keep getting created. It is getting ridiculous when 75% of the profiles are fake people

5. Mandatory sex field and filter

   I am a homosexual male and am only interested in finding members of the same sex, what this app was originally intended for. There are far too many women on the platform claiming to be "boys", "men", etc. This is really disconcerting and the current "gender" filter doesn't help much because it is not mandatory and buggy, I can't even set my "gender" and there are so many options it is just nonsensical and ridiculous. I've restricted it to "men" and "not specified" and, of course, I am still seeing many women trying to entice homosexual men into heterosexual sex.

    Urgent feedback on user experience and platform integrity

    Hello,
    I'm writing to report a significant issue with the app's user experience. Recently, there has been a noticeable increase in what appear to be fake profiles and accounts from OnlyFans members. This is significantly impacting the app's usability and the quality of interactions.

    Additionally, I've observed a surprising number of ladies profiles I was under the impression that this app is intended for I assume mostly gay men ? , so this seems to be a or an issue with the matching algorithm or are they fake profiles as well ? Just seems weird that this has happened recently and a “lot” of these fake profiles

    To address these problems, I suggest the following:
    * Implement stronger profile verification: This would help reduce the number of fake or spam accounts, improving trust and safety on the platform.
    * Enhance moderation and filtering tools: This could specifically target and remove profiles promoting external content, like OnlyFans.
    * Review and adjust the user matching algorithm: Please ensure that users are being matched with others who align with the app's intended demographic, as well as their specified preferences.

    Ever since the last fuck-update every time I click on a profile then go back, the screen automatically refreshes and jumps back to the top of the list. It's infuriating to navigate the app now and makes me want to delete it which would cause me to lose money I've already paid for the ultimate package.

    Dear Grindr Team,

    I want to share my experience with your platform, both as a user and someone who has been in recovery from meth addiction for the past four months. Two years ago, I was introduced to meth through connections I made on Grindr. While I acknowledge that my addiction is not the fault of Grindr itself, the platform unintentionally enabled my use and subsequent addiction due to the ease with which drugs are promoted, sold, and accessed through bios and display names.

    During one of my relapses, I had deleted all contact with drug dealers, but I was able to download Grindr again and access meth within 20 minutes. This highlights a concerning issue: Grindr can sometimes serve as an avenue for people struggling with substance abuse to connect with dealers, making recovery and sobriety even harder. For someone in recovery, this is incredibly triggering.

    I believe Grindr could take a more active role in combating the promotion of drugs on the platform by monitoring and removing bios and display names that reference drug use or sales. This kind of intervention could go a long way in preventing harm. Additionally, I think it would be immensely helpful if Grindr provided users with resources or links to local support groups and services for drug and alcohol recovery. Even a small step like this could have a big impact on individuals who are struggling or seeking help.

    Grindr is uniquely well-placed to provide targeted support for the community that uses its app. The platform has the potential to not only foster meaningful connections but also act as a resource for users navigating personal challenges like addiction and recovery. By taking these steps, Grindr could play a critical role in improving the well-being of its community.

    Xtra and Unlimited user should not have to deal with ads. I keep deleting the ads in the messages tab about Grindr content/podcast or whatever: I pay to not have ads. It's ok if u show them ONCE. But every time I open the app the damn ad as a conversation is there: PLEASE, RESPECT THE USERS WHO PAY.
