I am looking for trans women and I find other people looking for trans women. Barely any trans women all tops and I’m a top so it kinda makes using the app pointless.

That we can’t search for people
I think finding and searching people and their positions should be free. And why hasn’t there been a setting to search for guys by dick size and have a category on the profile to put in your cock size

Blocking users and any accounts they may create
I think it is in the interest of the grindr community's safety to create a "Block user and any accounts they may create" feature. I've been harassed by several people who simply make a new blank account and then approach me in app. They make new accounts almost weekly and their undesired contact has persisted for going on two years. I block them every single time. Once he even catfished me with other people's pictures. I highly recommend a feature that links blocks accounts by registration information so that undesired contact is limited.

Mandatory Verified Age/Face
The fact that there are so many blank profiles or profiles held by much older men targeting younger men is unsafe. This leads to predatory behavior, and makes it easy for bots to invade the app. There should be some kind of way to make it mandatory to send a photo ID to verify the person is real.

Stop updating so often. Everytime there is an update , there are glitches and issues. You need to catch a wake up grindr. Its getting to a stage where i want to cancel completely with all the shit updates u doing.
Ps also if you maybe charge way less for subscription more people would pay and get full memebrship . but due to your ridiculous prices most people wont pay. Limit it to R50 a month and ill tell you now you will make more money than what you currently making as everyone will subscribe2 votes -
Taps should appear as messages
Missing out when your guy taps you because you forget to check the taps tab sucks! Instead, we should show taps in the message thread alongside your conversation history. Keep them as a conversation starter.

Bring back the ‘Explore’ tab
Bring back the old ‘Explore’ tab. This was good to be able to look at who is local to you and then quickly switch tabs to the ‘Explore’ location. I like to be able to switch between the two especially when planning trips.

Unblock previous free features.
Return the app to where you can see who is in your area at least by 4 miles without having to pay for it. Also allow a view of who looked at your profile without paying for it. I really will not. I will delete the app before I pay anything for what I know you offered free with no issue previously

$1 for 3 hidden pictures
Please, trying to get someone to pay $29/momth (or something) for XTRA, make it available to purchase individual features that they want. In MY case, I prefer non-screenshottable photos and multiple albums over the advanced filters. I promise, I’d much, MUCH rather pay 2.99/momth for hidden pictures over that horrible $39/month xtra subscription. Im a senior vp of marketing on a daily basis (fortune 5 company). Making that subscription number look smaller (and not by the week, (golds gym suffered from this), offer maybe $10/month for hidden pics and (unlimited hidden pics and erasable addresses) this is SIMPLE privacy.

Stop bombarding me with desperate pleas for money
Like it’s not even the candy crush getting on my nerves anymore. I’ve learned to live with it. It’s your app asking me to buy boosts! Buy pro! Buy this! Buy that! Like girl we get it you’re horny for money but like… you’re not getting my money. And the more you distract me with ads shoved into my face the less I use your product. It’s truly that simple 🤷🏻♂️

Filter out people looking for NSA/Casua/Right Now
Right now, you can use the filter to show guys who are looking for friendships, relationships, hookups, etc. by ticking a box to select that option. What I would like is a filter that does the opposite, i.e. show profiles that DON'T have an option selected. In other words, I want to see only profiles that DON'T have "right now" ticked.
Not everyone is on Grindr looking for sex so it would be great to find the few guys who are ONLY looking for friendships, relationships, or just normal dates. Thank you!

Stop degrading the service for free (and XTRA) users
I appreciate that you need to make money to fund the app, but you also state that "ads keep the app free" whilst degrading the service constantly for free users. This is a big problem for paying subscribers, as new, free users stop using the app and the paying users just see the same faces over and over again.
