Would be good to be able to select what background type you want tk search for. All, white, mixed, middle eastern, Asian, black whatever so that you could filter your search if you are only into 1 or 2 types or backgrounds

Translation or « Right Now »
why in the recent version the translation of "Right Now" changed from "Tout de suite" to "Coup d'un soir" in the French translation of the application?

Why Does it cost so Much?
I highly think it is so wrong for how much the unlimited cost. I mean seriously how accounts do you have on here total. Then see how many accounts you have on here that is paying for the unlimited. better and faster live locations
A better and faster update to the location. When looking who is in the area you are. For example when I'm home there are different people near by then I go to work which is about an hours drive so it should have different people but it shows the same people are even if you refresh the app so I go close the app and then it might update your current location for example I talk to a guy and he is close by then i drive somewhere and a few minutes later i talk to a guy that shows…

When i open the app to view who's online, it doesnt show anyone. So i try closing the app, refreshing, etc., but its still not showing anyone.

Fix Block Feature!
The Block Feature not working has become a safety issue that Grindr is ignoring. I will never again pay to use this app for this reason! There is simply no excuse for this. Having to block the same people 10x a day is ludicrous and proves that Grindr doesn't really care about user safety or security as this has been an open issue FOREVER!

Make Grindr great again!
Judging by all the negative comments and product deterioration over the last few months, it's clear that Grindr has lost its way. In fact, when you read the following ad for Grindr Unlimited, it's clear that the app just cares about making money from elite users in the 1%, not the rest of us:

Fake picture removal
I have seen many of the profiles are sharing/misusing someone else pictures. Have faced many complications due to that. To avoid that, why don't use the face recognization option to upload pictures. We have enabled Camera option already. For time being, let's block the option of uploading pictures. I am sure no one is uploading anything useful to anyone in our community. Instead, the only option to share their picture is to take their face picture using camera which will be uploaded in app to be shared. Yet High chances are there that people take picture of an other photograph…

sent/delivered status viewable from chat feed
don't make me open every chat just to see if my msg has been delivered yet or it's still stuck on Sent. I should be able to scroll thru my entire chat list and see the status more easily without opening.

Pic validation
To reduce the amount of spam accounts/catfishing and stealing of others identity it would help if there was validation of profile pics to ensure they are who they say they are. This could also be done for pics in albums or uploaded pics for guys who do not want a pic on their profile. There is too much catfishing these days. It's becoming a off-putting to the extent that it seems pointless at times as your aren't even aware of who is real or not.

Prevent screen shot of profile pics
I have had my profile pics screenshot and used to set up fake profiles using my identity multiple times. This can be quite distressing. It would help if by default profile pictures could not be screenshot/stolen.
