I’m always trying to support lgbtq service providers (accountants, plumbers, real estate, landscaping, etc) and Grindr is such a ubiquitous app, I’d guess that there is a huge opportunity to use the platform to help connect gay customers with gay service providers.

Local business owners
Local business owners could pay a premium fee and receive a special icon and thus be able to promote their businesses on here many other apps do it I don't know why it's not allowed on here and plus an ad for something local is a lot easier to swallow than social media and video game ads that you guys are currently running

Lesbians now on Grindr? WTH
🌈 And just when I thought the TS, Cis women and heterosexual homophobic men were getting out of hand on Grindr and now they added a lesbian tag and gender.
If you go to edit tap on your profiles, you will see the option of lesbians. I’m trying to add a screenshot here, but it’s not allowing me.
The moderators and Admins of Grindr, don’t even give an F about this form and ideas you will see the last time a moderator commented and gave feedback on this website was three years ago.

I would like to know the read status without clicking on the message. A small R for read / D for delivered / S for sent / O for opened underneath the minutes would be perfect.

better category options
More category and filter refinement for better matches… younger 4 older, older 4 younger, younger for daddy, age preferences besides the slider control... like “close in age”, etc. I also miss the ethnic filter even though it’s not very pc. It'd be nice to know initially and a lot less frustrating not to have to sift through all the profiles (when somebody actually does bother to write one), only to find that chances are pretty low the perspective person would even respond. thanks

Stop patonising LGBTQ+ from the middle east
I use Grindr in and out of my country and it feels like i can not properly access the people in my country due to grindr blocking people in the explore page. The gay community in the middle east highly depend on apps like this to create a community, Yet "safty warnings" pop out every time you try to access and the app becomes completely useless. The older versions allowed us to talk to people all around the world but it seems like if you're not a "progressive" country we'll be a nanny state for you

"Hide profile from"
A filter/option to hide your profile from anyone you're not interested in. So if you don't want to be contacted by profiles over or under certain ages, without a picture or matching criteria of your choosing, then your profile won't be visible to them and they won't be visible to you. This will save time, effort and the frustration of rejections.

Have a security feature that allows us to see if someone is tracking us and mimicking the contract with the chatters we are also talking to
Tracking information available to see if individuals without permission are using malware to track and even subotogue a persons attempts at dating
