General user experience
The whole use of experience of Grindr has got worse and worse. There are too many ads. There are too many scammers. There are too many fake accounts. These are so obvious and yet Grindr chooses to do nothing about it.
With the amount of genetic AI and generative AI that’s available, you should fire your head of development and use experience and get new people in to make the app more usable.
So many other people have said it so I’ll say it again… This app is becoming a pile of garbage

Allow grindr on the web for everyone!
Grindr need to be allowed across the bored for web access! Living a a low populated area there no need for me to pay for unlimited access but still nice you have access wether I have the app or not. Times I don’t have access to my phone! Been long user but grindr penalizes the no paying users just because there greedy!

Verification process
Please implement a mandatory verification process as the blank and fake profiles are in abundance and creating an annoying, time consuming user experience butore important is the safety issue it creates for your users allowing people to spy,watch or research to find someone whom they can make their victim of numerous different types from exposing them to scamming them to stalking them or even setting them up to be physically harmed in one way or another.

Allow couple profiles
Please make couple an option for profile type or as an identifying option under identity choices like male female non-binary transgender etc etc then allow to choose specific types as in: Male/male or Male/Female or Male /Non-binary etc etc OR ALLOW ONE PROFILE TO LINK TO ANOTHER PROFILE IN RELATIONSHIP STATUS CHOICES AND THEN THE OPTION FOR EACH PROFILE TO ACCEPT THE LINK UP TO THE OTHER PROFILE(S).

Add Genital preferences ie: Uncut, Pierced, tattooed, etc
Need more tag options for genital preference and for what your own genitals are
There are a number that probably should be added:
Uncut, pierced genitals, tattooed genitals, AMAB, AFAB, pube colour, post surgery, intersex, boy clit,
Also perhaps tomboy, gender neutral, Prey/predator, neurodivergent, and autism would be great as well.1 vote -

I need to fix the chat bugs, please, help me!
Chats are beyond buggy, they’re non functional. Notifications don’t work, I have badges showing new incoming chats when I send them. I have chats that won’t send, I have chats that disappear and reappear, I have chats that I can’t delete. You guys are seriously messing it up.

Fake profiles
Strict verification on profiles I have ppl 3300 feet from me with someone 50 miles away
So many fake profiles and so many ads
This app will die in the next couple of years
It's going down the same road as gay.com and adam4adam

Distance Search Filter/threshold please!
You have so many options to filter users that appear in the grid yet no way to filter out people that are 138 miles away when the last person I looked at was 40 miles away.
Easy fix!!
Just do a slider in the filters tab with a new distance filter. It sets the max threshold and doesn’t show profiles that go beyond that set mileage. Ooorrr maybe profiles past the set mileage show up muted like 50% dark and black and white. Yeah?

Bring back favourites and search for text in notes of favourites
Since the favourites have been included in the general filters there is no way to search for a name or text in notes of favourites - this was an essential feature that allows you to add city or other info in notes and then find people again like that.
Ideally favourites should be groupable by distance or last chatted like in scruff.6 votes -

Please remove Show me in explore search from privacy option
We want please remove Show me in explore search from privacy setting. Because this is making slow down the search feature. We are unable to find good people due to this. Good people hiding himself by using don't show me in explore search and criminal mind people and bad people remain left visible. So please remove Show me and don't show me explore search from privacy setting. We are visitor and before go that place we try to chat Good person but due to this feature it becomes difficult to find more and good people. If you understand remove it.

Remove persistent Xtra banner
The Xtra banner used to be visible only when scrolling Xtra profiles. Making it persistent as it is now makes it more difficult to scroll, and removes the visual cue that the user was reviewing Xtra profiles.
Please revert to having the banner only after viewing available/ free profiles
