Make the app strictly for gay MEN again!
This app is the most popular app for gay MEN. For far too long there has been a massive influx of WOMEN and those that identify as FEMALE. Stop trying to be an all inclusive all and get back to your roots as an app for MEN!! It’s hard enough to try and find decent gay guys to spend time with we don’t need or deserve to have to sift though WOMEN and those that think they are a WOMEN!!!

24h unlimited subscription doesn't work
I used to purchase this temporary subscription, until a friend notified me that I was online, but I had incognito mode on. So I reached Grindr support on November 09th reporting the situation. After 2 or 3 days, an agent called Dan replied my email, saying that they identified a bug, but it would solved.
Since now, dezember 23th, after a lot of complaints and always the answer "thank you for your patience" my patience is over.
I'll start to spread and people "Don't purchase this product" because, even that they know about the bug, they keep selling it to…8 votes -

Retaining messages after blocking events
Please make it possible to retain message threads when a guy blocks. I think it would act as a useful record in the event of sexual assault. It would also provide Grindr with transcripts of guys who get creepy or abusive. The current function is used by too many guys as a form of game, which isn’t good for mental or emotional health. It could still prevent the blocked person from messaging, but at least conversations are preserved, as in say WhatsApp or Facebook. I think this would make a difference for many.

Private notification option. So it doesnt show what the message says when you have the discreet icon on.

Get rid of xtra
It's way too expensive, especially if you're doing just one time thing with people, and it keeps you from clicking on people when you put in your preferences and it's really annoying

PLEASE MAKE IT SO WE CAN FILTER PEOPLE WHO ARE VERIFIED BY HAVING THEIR TWITTER/INSTAGRAM LINKy, THERE IS SO MANY FAKE PROFILES OUT THERE THAT JUST CATFISH, IT’S INSANE YOU DONT HAVE A VERIFICATION METHOD TO COMBAT THE SEXUAL ASSAULT GOING ON YOUR APP. WILL BE FILLING WITH THE COUNTY CLERK!

Location and privacy
Last update with the prohibition of mocking locations doesn't seem to be very helpful, here is my proposition.The app should use exact locations but shouldn't be seen in a precise way in the profiles, this can be made quite easy just hiding this info setting a user in a broad area you can see a example of this in the location of the sellers in other app called wallapop. if someone wants to share his precise location it can be perfectly be done in the private message Window. Reporting those who have blocked you
A guy stole some of my stuff after meeting and blocked me before I was able to report him. You should be able to see the chats of & report people who have blocked you so that situations like this can be remedied

Chubby/Chaser Community
I’ve been using this app for various years now and I think I could say I have a fair understanding of how it works. I’ve noticed there’s not a lot of options when it comes to chubbier guys. There’s no “chub” or “chaser” tribe. Just things such as “bears” and “otters” is the closest we can get. Let’s be honest, being a bigger person in this app is already hard enough as it is. The past 4 months images on the profiles on the Grid do not load. I can only see them when I’m at home using my personal WiFi.

Yes I can read better in color letters format it so ppl can understand what I say and write and read. Imma have to go in a receipts I help
I helped develop your app with donations also wiki pedia and a lot of ppl can a brother get colored letters on the app. Also make a music channeling to support music artists to open up like MySpace days the integration be mad dope!! Charge per add on and both music artist and you get paid
