People were already pretty turned off by taps. More often than not, I saw profiles where people said they ignored them or would specifically block you if you tapped them. Now that you put them behind a paywall, you made them completely pointless. Now No one will have to waste space on their profiles, claiming that they hate taps. Please do the same thing to chats. Leave a gaping hole for another app to swoop in and claim your audience.

If someone is banned, tell them why
Tell someone why they are banned. The whole process is in reverse. The expectation is for me to read the grindr Bible without knowing what I’m looking for. Offenses are subjective. The whole process is a mess. Drug dealers and pedos inundate the app….I’m just trying to have fun. While having paid the annual subscription. .

I wish there was some more room
I wish there was some more space when you go to someone's profile to add in more details. I know this feature currently exists already (if you favourite someone (you can leave a note on their profile after favouriting) but there is not enough room in the text box provided. An option to manually add a nickname to someone's profile, maybe a last known location too and sexual preferences. If you added these 3 as new text boxes and kept the note bit too, it would give us more customisation. The main reason I mention all this is because I…

Default keyboard language
For multilingual users:
Each chat should remember the last language used so that you don’t have to constantly change keyboard language between conversations. WhatsApp and other chat apps do it, so it shouldn’t be too complicated. Would be very convenient in Europe!!2 votes -

The app is not working!
The last weeks the app is terrible! Many messages are not delivered, 8 out of 10 times there are no notifications for taps, 8 out of 10 times albums don’t open from chat and have to restart the app, and at certain time of the day the app runs very very slow. I know I am not the only one having these problems because many more people I chat with are complaining about the same issues.
Are you finally going to fix them or will we have to cancel our expensive subscriptions and look for another app that works better…2 votes -
All the limitations
Dont get me wrong, I'm not stupid. An app needs development, which needs money. But to actually now start limiting MORE after those years? Very stupid meausures honestly. Tinder has done more for my gay self than grindr has in 6 years. How sad is that considering they took over your concept?

Filter out everyone you have already chatted with
I know there's a "chatted today" filter, but can we have a filter to not show everyone I have already chatted with? It would really let ne focus on new connections on the grid.

Everyone needs to fill out there profile not with just your age but fill it out totally.
Everyone must fill out there profile completely. No blank profiles. No fake pictures of yourself. If you don't fill out profile than you can't join. Make website free .

Right now people can see how close you are down to the meter maybe have a third option instead of having distance set to on or off you can set it so that people can see how many km away you are, so if its under 1 km it will still only say 1km away i would love to show distance but i dont want people to be able to track me down easily to my exact house especially if someone that lives very close downloads the app (like 200 meters away) this would atleast make me alot comfier with…

Improve performance and reduce cost
Messages sending but don't deliver for hours sometimes. The price of a subscription is unreasonable for an app that performs very poorly. Very popular app with the worst performance of any app on my phone and I have a lot of apps. Get a new developer team, the app has been unstable year in year out for literally years. Slow messages can literally ruin a connection with a guy, get it together Grindr it's just not good enough
