The “For You” feature needs to be removed
For You pulls profiles off the regular grid and into a daily curated list where only Unlimited subscribers can message them. For non-Unlimited subscribers, For You effectively removes the ability to message selected people in the community. Some profiles are curated every day, preventing me from messaging them effectively forever. Users whose profiles are included are never told. Opting out requires finding a "Show me in For You" setting buried in the app. Making some users' profiles available only to higher paying customers, without notice or compensation for effectively using these profile as a promotional advertisement or incentive to upgrade,…

Straight filter
Add a filter to hide straight guys looking for Cis Women. I can't find any gay, bi, or trans bcz of too many straight guys looking for females or cuck couples.

A way to filter what types of profiles can view our profile
It is awkward when so many profiles that aren’t your type message you. And you are left with awkward or rude ghosting. Which hurts them and makes you seem rude. Or you block them, again making you seem rude. If we have a way to filter out certain types of profiles (by age, weight, height, ethnicity, etc) and those profiles can’t see OUR profile, we never run into that situation.

Can you make it an option to turn off the "for you" tab? I like most people aren't willing to spend $150/month on this app so please have the option to toggle it off so I can find these people normally and message them. I am aware that people in the for you won't appear normally.

AC died on the hottest day of the year – emergency help in Toronto?
Guys, I am officially in a crisis. It is 7 PM on a Friday, my house is currently 29 degrees, and my central air conditioner just made a loud "pop" sound and died. I have two young kids and a very grumpy cat, and the thought of trying to get through a Toronto humid night without cooling is terrifying. I’ve already checked the breaker, but every time I flip it back, it just trips again immediately.

Setting for Grindr's ability to open browser apps like "Chrome" and "Safari"
It would be comforting to know I have an option in app to control what other apps Grindr can open automatically or even when I click on it accidentally. As of now there is no such option. If there was at the very least there should be a confirmation prompt once you click on the ad.
I've also made a report on Chrome to which we'll see if there is a helpful response.10 votes -

My pronouns keep disappearing from my profile even though I add them again periodically. Kinda an annoying glitch, I just put mine in my bio instead but I'd rather have them in the built in pronoun field.

Introduce an option to only allow approved people to add you as a favourite
Currently there is no way to know who has marked you as a favourite, which means they can track you online without your knowledge. Why should a complete stranger be able to see when I'm online or have made changes to my profile? Or it might be that I would want to start a chat with the person if they're too shy to initiate a chat themselves
