People flake/ghost/no-show too easily- here’s a potential solution.
Everyone’s gone through it: some guy messages you and you’re really interested, and they seem super interested as well. Then they don’t show up, or stop responding, or block you after wasting your time. The sheer irritation of being tricked is special.

Albums should not have a share limit imposed
I thought my album is simply an easy to send collection of photos you already had permanently sitting there for you to pick from to send anyway. So just like attaching five photos to a message I had assumed you can add this album as many times as you like. Low and behold today the app told me I have to delete some sent albums before I can send more! It simply doesn’t make sense or make things easier. Picture criteria
I have submitted pics wearing shorts or underwear but we’re rejected because my bulge, I was not having an erection and I see pics of other profiles where you could determine that there are erections in them.
Also you have rejected pics where I was holding a joint and it was rejected. People I see other pics where smoke is coming out of their mouths or noses …. How come those are right ?4 votes -
Hide the new message box that pops up when one visits a profile.
The option to write messages on the main profile view it's wonderful. I fell in love with this, but it's awful when you just want to check the profile, as it used to be and that box appears hiding almost everything. I'm not into writing without watching. I feel this is the opposite it should be, don't you?
Please, don't give up because the app is getting better with your support.

Photos getting approved
I'm just wondering how Grindr approves user's photo? Is it by AI or it's done manually by staff?
Sometimes the uploaded photos get processed very fast, the fastest I experienced before was within 2 mins or so. And now it's taking forever and sometimes it's taking so long that I have to delete it and use the photos that I already have in Grindr.
Is there a possibility you can expedite the process? With the pandemic coming to an end already and things should slowly back to normal?

Add food preferences in profile description
Would be helpful to add the food preference category in the profile description. I am always ending meeting vegan and vege guys and this is disappointing when you like food really much.

There should be an option to let know anonymously that std was detected. I have never been informed by anyone that ine was diagnosed positi
many guys are ashamed to tell partners they have been suffering with std. Many guys block others after one time hookup. There should be an option to let know anonymously that std was detected to let people test themselves. it could me a massive notice to everyone I marked as Hooked-up within last 3-4 weeks.

Allow users to disable Last Seen
Last Seen should not be a permanent feature that users cannot self select to disable. This is a privacy consideration for those of us who wish to prevent individuals in our network from knowing when we were last using the app, whether that be an ex, emerging or existing boyfriend, co-worker, employer, etc. Please provide an option for this important privacy control.

If subscribers of Grindr are supposed to follow the “community guidelines “ in regards to pictures then Have a panel of volunteering, paying members only, who have the final decision in picture approvals. I travel a lot and it seems that when leave my catchment my standing profile pictures are now contravening the Grindr Torah, community guidelines. This happens because,Like anything else open to interpretation by humans the opinions are biased and driven by how that certain employee is feeling at that moment. You advise that if it can’t go on Instagram, it can’t be here, yet there are almost nude women on Instagram.
Why can’t you simply put a “nudity” veil over any photo or over people who pay your ridiculous unlimited fees so that you can click on it to see it or not if you don’t. You over charge on this app then subject top paying members to extreme censorship. I understand google and apple but for the money you should put your heads together and come up with something since I can see asscheeks all day on instagram and don’t see apple or google stopping it.
