  7. Hidden not blocked?

    Where is the option to block a profile???? Now it says: Hide.
    Does it mean the profile I hide will not be show in my grid, but my profile will be showed to the person?? I want to block a profile in order the person cant find me anymore, not just hide someone's else profile.. omg this app annoys me

    Excessive Ads!!!
    You go out from the app for a second, you back bang! An ad!
    You’re seeing profiles, bang! An ad
    And so on… I know ads make it free but GODDAMN IT
    Remove it or get lower plans, thanks!

    The new version of grindr is really going backwards, I don't understand what they did with the favorites, with all due respect it sucks, it doesn't give you any information about the people you have added, before without needing to access the profile you already knew if that person was online and how far away they were, the new update doesn't give any information so what's the point of having people added to favorites? 🤔

    How about backing off the ads. You have ads playing while a pop up screen will start another ad.. one clears but other still going.. than.. while that finishes yet another ad will start... Then you get a notification for a msg that is YET ANOTHER AD!!You think this might be a little of an over kill? You do this to get people to go unlimited yet the price is beyond reasonable even just to rid the ads. Seriously someone up top needs a reality check as they clearly have never tried using this app of recent times

    I’m not sure why the latest update has eliminated the block feature and instead has added a hide feature.
    If someone doesn’t want to communicate with a person, especially if it’s to avoid harassment, blocking should be an option. Why the change?

    Get rid of ads. Every time I go from a page back to messages there's 3-4 ad messages and I keep having to delete them. It's annoying.

  17. Adverts are too invasive, lessen/mitigate the ads

    Lower the volume and appearance of apps. Once reaching to the messages section, the automated apps force the pinned messages list to shuffle the cursor back to the top. Opening a random message thread is a nightmare making it a daily routine nowadays. It also causes lots of backlog and unnecessary bottleneck during the exchange of information packs over the IPV5 cellular data. You can not be invasive and expect people to like your application. You already leaked people's data, and privacy in the past. Work on bettering off your system rather than making it more invasive, and unscrupulously profitable…

    Absolutely horrendous idea to limit the block functionality. Makes me feel unsafe/uncomfortable using the app. Seriously considering leaving
