1. Stop resetting my filters. It's annoying.

   I don't know if this is a bug or a "feature", but my filters reset every time I leave the app. It's super annoying and I hate it. Make it stop.

2. new favourite tab is a mess

   Having it as a filter is not good. Small thumbnails, no details on distance, or last online, profiles with hidden distance now appear at the bottom.

    Hi Grindr team,
    Thank you for creating a space where we can share feedback — I appreciate the effort being put into improving the app.
    That said, the biggest issue I’m currently facing is a combination of sluggish performance and ongoing problems with spam or fake accounts.
    Performance: The app often feels slow or unresponsive, especially when opening chats, loading profiles, or switching between tabs. Even on a relatively new device with a strong internet connection, the lag can be noticeable. It affects the overall experience and makes everyday use frustrating at times.
    Spam & fake profiles: Despite improvements, there are still a lot of suspicious or obviously fake accounts popping up — often with strange names, stolen photos, or too-good-to-be-true messages. It would be great to see stronger detection, more robust reporting tools, or even an optional verification system to help improve trust between users.
    I love using Grindr to connect with people, and I think the platform has a lot of potential if these core issues are addressed more directly. Looking forward to seeing future updates, and thanks again for listening to the community!

13. Set the limit for blocking.

    There should be a limit to the number of people who can be blocked. Many people block others simply because they're not interested, and some do so for no reason at all.

    If someone particularly enjoys blocking others, it's likely a problem with that person.

    Many people get blocked simply because they're not good-looking enough, which is really hurtful.

16. Less FUCKING ads, like holy shit. You leave a chat? ad. You leave a profile? Ad. 15$ for 1 week of Grindr but free users get 150 ads

    LESS ADS holy SHIT you charge people 15$ a WEEK in Canada for the extra bullshit HOW do you not produce enough money off that to not completely boggle all the free users (who also bring lots of money in by being forced to watch everyone of these fucking ads) makes absolutely no sense that I can’t view at least 5 profiles before being hit with 30 seconds of advertisement, when I JUST open the app and open a chat reply and leave it and get an ad that is actually fucking ridiculous. Haven’t even been on the app more than 2 minutes and now I have to wait 30 sec to use it again? All of this just to push people into buying you egregiously expensive extra. Really gross business practices for a business that’s largely used by people who already get the small end of the stick a majority of the time.

    Strict verification on profiles I have ppl 3300 feet from me with someone 50 miles away
    So many fake profiles and so many ads
    This app will die in the next couple of years
    It's going down the same road as gay.com and adam4adam

    You have 14 1/2 to 15 million users. Of those users, a little under 1 million actually pay. It might benefit you to consider lowering your egregious prices. Furthermore, you pedal thousands of ads a day. There are users, leaving your app and going to scruff simply because your ads are way too much. With the amount you're charging us for your app and the amount of ads you petals that no one, I mean absolutely no one cares about, you obviously have to know that these things alone are bad for your company It seems like you just don't care. And as if those things weren't enough, you have more fake profiles you allow on your grid than real ones. With your grid being so restricting as it is, how could you allow this to carry on? How can you propose to benefit the gay community? You're not. As a matter of fact, it seems like you actually hate us.

    The daily ads for your Woodwork erection med service are getting ridiculous. I paid to remove ads and now you’re violating the spirit of that agreement. One or two popups would have been reasonable. Harassing me more than that every day is not reasonable. I didn’t want them last week or yesterday and still don’t want them today. In fact, I won’t want them tomorrow either.
