Abnormally large amount of advertising messages and their aggressiveness. The Grindr application cannot be used normally because of this. You can avoid this by paying a membership fee, but the prices are too high. It has to stop.

Please get rid of the AI
I understand the desire for AI functionality. I’m not even telling you to delete it altogether. However, the feature feeds off my private information that I would like to be kept in between me and users I message. Yet it’s going to use my data to sell whatever back to me. I don’t want it and I opted out clearly. However every single time I open the app it gives me the choice to accept or decline. Probably 30 times by now. I’m tired of having to decline every time when I know if I accept, it’ll never pop up…

Bots/fakes
App is essentially useless because 90% of messages are from bots/fakes. The only remedy would be authenticating new users at set up. Till then I’m canceling my paid subscription and deleting my account.

Better safety and privacy for verified users.
Please add optional verified profile badge (photo/ID verification) so real users can show authenticity, while keeping unverified/blank profiles allowed.

Bring back the favorites tab
Please bring back the favorites tab at the bottom of the screen. The new format sucks. I can’t search for notes that I had put on my favorites anymore

The list of how many people we can see is ridiculous
Only being able to see 18 people is kind of ridiculous. We should be able to see more people than what you are allowing. 🤦🏻♂️

only fans and trans prostitutes
90% of the pokes I get are either trans prostitutes or only fans content creators begging and scrounging for people to pay to look at their junk. They are poking, but not viewing my profile. I automatically report all profiles as spam that poke without viewing. Grindr must have a way to quickly isolate all profiles that poke without viewing and block their IP address permanently.

Fake trans women profiles and women
Fake trans women profiles are scams that use stolen/AI photos to catfish users. They waste time, trick people into meetings, and create real safety risks on a location-based app. And Cis straight women don’t belong on Grindr. The app was made for gay/bi/queer men. They clutter the grid and frustrate the main user base.

Bring hiv filters back
I noticed that the most recent update has removed hiv positive (undetectable) from the apps filters and that really disappoints me, as someone who was recently diagnosed I've struggled with finding anyone with the same diagnosis as I do not feel comfortable sharing my status or experience with someone who isn't also positive for HIV, most apps already demonize HIV+ people or extort them with high fees just to have a small chance of speaking to one another. No filter for Gender / Trans / fem / people looking for fem only
I'm a gay male, masc, into masc, yet more than half my grid is full-on cis gender women, fems, or people who have their name as like "fem only" "fem pounder" "DL 👀 fems" etc. Like half of my grid is either people who have no interest in me because I'm NOT FEM, or are straight women with their bits out when I'm a GAY MAN and there's NO WAY to hide these people or filter them out BESIDES manually hiding and blocking every single one. Like why can't I as a cis gender gay man filter by other cisgender…

Atualmente, ao compartilhar um álbum privado, o aplicativo seleciona automaticamente a opção de acesso por tempo indeterminado, mesmo quando o usuário costuma utilizar outras opções disponíveis, como 24 horas, 60 minutos, 10 minutos ou visualização única. No meu caso, por exemplo, utilizo principalmente as opções de 10 minutos ou visualização única. Entretanto, preciso alterar manualmente a duração a cada novo compartilhamento. Algumas vezes, por esquecimento, acabo enviando o álbum com acesso indefinido e preciso revogar o acesso posteriormente, o que pode gerar situações…

Why having adds if I pay 99 annual
Why should customers have to see advertisements when they are already paying $99 a year for a subscription? The price started much lower and has continued to increase over time, and now, despite paying for the service, there are additional restrictions on profiles and ads appearing when opening messages and even in the middle of searches.
As a long-time customer who has supported the service from the beginning, I find this very disappointing and unfair. Paying customers should receive a premium experience without being constantly exposed to advertisements or increasing restrictions.
For my part, I have decided not to renew…

Gender filter
Create a Gender filter. This app was once designed for cisgender gay men but now allows all gender roles. I’m not against one expressing their gender identity, but as a cis gay man, I want cis gay men, no cis female or trans.
