Allow nude profile pics with paid subscription
The free app has to be G rated, but when you pay a monthly fee it should be M rated w/nude profile pics. BC in reality this is a GAY HOOKUP SEX SITE! Everyone usually shares the same X pics anyway

MAJOR SECURITY RISK
Grindr Is a major security risk to the safeness of users and people within the community. Ever since I started using the app men have been using my images as their profile pictures to both sell drugs and suggest sexual activity. Sometimes catfishing young men and luring them to locations. I believe the only way the company can come together to solve this issue is to REQUIRE a MANDATORY security process for anyone using face picture images. STOP CHARGING FOR EVERYTHING
Yall need to stop trying to charge for EVERYTHING. It's ridiculous that you guys try to make a profit out of EVERYTHING. It's frustrating that you limit the number of albums we can view that people literally send to us. It's annoying now that even the "fresh" page is limited to only 9 profiles and every other profile needs a payment to view. You guys used to limit the block feature too and try to charge us for it. Stop losing notes on favorite profiles
My notes on favourite profiles keep getting erased. They disappear almost every two days now. Why can't you fix these bugs? Reliability is a BASIC function of any app.

Clicking a profile picture to play a clip like Facebook has. Maybe a 30 clip of someone saying a little about themselves when you click their profile picture.

Update screwup
Every update makes this app worse. Today’s update erased all my favourites notes. Thanks idiots!!
When you send a pic in a DM now, and then go back to the grid, when you return to the DM the photos are gone. When you send a message it briefly shows like the message has been received. Getting notification sounds but no messages. The list goes on. What a fuckup!!!!65 votes -

Profile Verification
I think that in order to make a profile, you should have to pass a verification process that confirms identity. As well as it being mandatory to have a face photo, as well as age being mandatory factors on a profile. Especially from a safety perspective.
Anything else is basically catfishing and should not be allowed in this day and age.

Grindr needs a revival... 2.0 Days werent nearly as BS as it is these days...
Read receipts for all users will allow for the app to become a lot more serious

Tap the Grindr symbol at the bottom to scroll back to the top near you
April 29 2021 you updated Grindr. When this happened you remove the tap to scroll all the way back to the top. Now if I'm at the end of my near me I have to scroll manually back to the top. Please re-enable that feature.

Allow us to click & see the profile of someone in recently viewed. i get not being able to see the profile over a certain number, that was never a problem, but suddenly now we can't see the profile of someone who looked at us "right now." i get that you want people to pay for things, but this is just a ridiculous change. i pay for the first tier, and am considering canceling as i will not upgrade just to be able to see who viewed me!

These “no men” posts
As a gay user, I love that Grindr promotes a safe space for all… However, the amount of straight men on this app looking for “not men” is fckng ridiculous at this point. Please find a way for us to filter them, they really should be on they’re own app as they’re not gay but if you want to welcome them to our safe space please create a filter.
