2. Taps free again

6. I want my favorites back (and findable)!

   Recently Grindr has changed the access to favorites and notes by making favorites a filter with a maximum for free users. A huge handicap and a reason to use the app a lot less. Not nice!

7. A little less adds

   I'm having to watch an add almost every time after I messages some one and back out the chat. Watch one when I view someone's profile. Sometimes i have to watch one when i first open the app. Its getting ridiculous. And maybe get better ones. Ones that pertain to grindr or similar too. Maybe even just give the option to pay for no adds and nothing else. Cause at this point I would.

    Dear Grindr Team,

    I want to share my experience with your platform, both as a user and someone who has been in recovery from meth addiction for the past four months. Two years ago, I was introduced to meth through connections I made on Grindr. While I acknowledge that my addiction is not the fault of Grindr itself, the platform unintentionally enabled my use and subsequent addiction due to the ease with which drugs are promoted, sold, and accessed through bios and display names.

    During one of my relapses, I had deleted all contact with drug dealers, but I was able to download Grindr again and access meth within 20 minutes. This highlights a concerning issue: Grindr can sometimes serve as an avenue for people struggling with substance abuse to connect with dealers, making recovery and sobriety even harder. For someone in recovery, this is incredibly triggering.

    I believe Grindr could take a more active role in combating the promotion of drugs on the platform by monitoring and removing bios and display names that reference drug use or sales. This kind of intervention could go a long way in preventing harm. Additionally, I think it would be immensely helpful if Grindr provided users with resources or links to local support groups and services for drug and alcohol recovery. Even a small step like this could have a big impact on individuals who are struggling or seeking help.

    Grindr is uniquely well-placed to provide targeted support for the community that uses its app. The platform has the potential to not only foster meaningful connections but also act as a resource for users navigating personal challenges like addiction and recovery. By taking these steps, Grindr could play a critical role in improving the well-being of its community.

    *for You, isn't making recommendations based on my usage of the app and the profiles I look at or communicate with.
    I'm fact, the *For You *feature** is pushing profiles to me that appear to be exactly like the ones I block on a daily basis.
    More garbage features added before fixing long standing and new bugs.

    Common Grindr it’s about time the option To search for chats are certain chats in particular via the name of keywords it’s about time this was brought back. It was a really handy feature especially if you didn’t favourite up in the chat. Quite frustrating now we have to constantly scroll to look for it and if you get a chat in the meantime, it puncture right back up to the top Which is really really really frustrating also no longer can you do group chats which is also really annoying. Are you charging an absolute arm? A leg for a platform? Maybe look into this?

    This option is a total annoyance. We should have the option to opt out and not see this grid. Not only is everyone offline - the grid shows for you people who aren't too far away and more importantly - not part of my choice of tast. Same as boost.
    As a paying member - we should have option to opt out. The app is pushing me too spend more time on sniffies... And a lot of my buddies are saying the same thing. Listen to your paying members... Simplicity. Proximity and no one needs to be seeing the unwrapped messages 20 times after you delete it. It's insane

    The app should include the option to verify the profile and show orher users who is verify.

    The verification selfie ahould match at least one picture form the profile. If users don't eant to use face picture for their profile, that is oke as well. But the rest of the users deserve to ve able to verify the profiles.

    My biggest pain point is that my it takes such a long time for me to block the people I don’t want to talk to that I can’t even talk to the People I want to talk to. Please install a select multiple accounts to block so I don’t have to waste my entire phone battery on blocking accounts individually
