This feature apparently just popped up on my app....I was looking for people nearby then all of a sudden they get rearranged and people who are 20 miles are at the top and people who are a mile are way farther down....this feature sucks...hate it with a passion...I initially thought my phone was messed up...needs to be gotten rid of...hate hate hate this feature

Try telling people why they got banned
Literally, unconsensual nudes are an undying mould on the app with entitled, creepy cis men always throwing pictures of their dicks at people who explicitly state they don't want photos. I can almost guarantee half the people complaining about getting banned are one of the thousand faceless profiles sending unwanted nudes. Give repeat offenders a pop up saying "did you ask?" Before they're allowed to send a photo. Space we lack
You guys give such a limited number of people we can see for free. Being forced into paying for something that isn’t very inexpensive monthly. So not to separate folks but i didn’t ask to see “tranny” or “guys looking for girls” that’s really upsetting considering it was an app for men to meet other men. Allow for customizable sounds
Allow for customizable, personal notification tones for chat, taps, etc. The Grindr tone is too well known and using custom tones would increase privacy & security.

Add option to require consent to receive images
Have the option for users to block incoming image messages from people until the user has granted them permission. This will allow users to avoid seeing unsolicited NSFW images from users they have not given consent to.

Seguridad y verificación
En otras aplicaciones se verifica la identidad de los usuarios, sería realmente útil si usaran algún tipo de mecanismo para verificar los perfiles y así evitar la suplantación de identidad y cualquier otro tipos de estafas que puedan realizarse. Que ponga que un perfil es nuevo no tiene efecto por lo menos en cuanto a la seguridad y verificación.

Add “Pacific Islander” to ethnicity options
Pacific Islanders like me actually exist, and we’re excluded in the current ethnicity profile options. Can you add that option so we can represent ourselves on your app, and be able to connect with each other?

Sexually suggestive pictures
There’s screening for some pictures, but not all pictures depending on your body type and it is unfair. If the app is going to police “sexually suggestive”pictures it should be done across the board. Honestly users should be able to make whatever picture they would like their profile picture without limitations. These screenshots are of profiles that has their pictures approved without policing, are extremely revealing, yet my pictures aren’t and keeps getting deleted by the app.

When you get a warning from grindr. It tells you nothing about what it was. You do not need to know who or when. Avoid false ones.
Some way, when a warning is issued you should get an email explaining the issue. You do not need to say from whom. Being subjected to a false allegation is not right either. You should not have to wait till the banned pops up because someone does not like your profile especially if it does not violate TOS, I realize moderators are there on a "complaint report", but that does not necessarily make the report Correct. A person should know the particular violation "if there is one.

A few basic necessities for regular users.
- Upgrade/eXtra prices
?Wtf wrong with you guys? Those gargantuan prices for what? For App which permanently doesn't refreshing or shows nonsense distance/position? Or for a "interested" adds (every f©k1n ten minutes)? Maybe its for some many others bugs and function lacks in there...
Repair the goddamn refreshing and distance/position showing.
I/We would appreciate a "not interested" or "dislike" button.
Fix these things that most users consider "basic & standard" and maybe I'll (and some others too) start subscribing the premium version...
...but probably not at those prices.

Herpes status in profile
Herpes is estimated to be carried by around 20% of adults. Surely that percentage is even higher amongst Grindr users. As with HIV, once a person contracts herpes, its presence is permanent. Grindr should include a place for herpes status in profiles as it does with HIV to increase safety and awareness amongst users.

message widget covers images
that "say something" and "answer now" text input widgets are always covering the lower part of the image I'm viewing, I cannot hide it. Please let me swipe them away or hide them at all.
