1. Fui banido injustamente

   Uma pessoa me denunciou injustamente, imagino que ela tenha feito isso por causa do que falei, no caso foi que eu não estava interessado nela. E por algum motivo o Grindr efetivou essa denúncia.
   Mas Imagino que eu saiba o por quê. Acho que isto aconteceu pelo fato de que eu e meu irmão usamos está conta. Eu tenho 18 e ele 16, mas não conversávamos com os mesmos caras. Sei que não deveria ter emprestado minha conta para ele usar, já que ele é menor de idade. Só que não sou assumido para meus pais, e ele ameaçou contar para eles se eu não dividisse minha conta com ele. Só que agora minha conta foi banida, e ela estava registrada em meu telefone. E agora não consigo criar outra conta. Só gostaria disto.

3. Dating

   Definitely add a dating specific side in the app and the value of the app will increase greatly with each time a person is on the app to hookup they don’t have to cross paths with those whom only wish to date and yes the daters won’t have to say there not interested in hookups. Also if I’m a total top and post as one then maybe I should be automatically shown more bottoms instead of having to filter it. Bumble have many sections and so should Grindr. I’d say put a networking section on there and anyone that wants to network meet friends clients and colleagues they can do that on another platform or a different version of the app to filter bots and avoid people who wanna sell stuff and not meet. Keep the app for meetings I say.

4. Change “gear” tag to something that doesn’t also mean “drugs”

   In Australian English, and probably in a lot of other vernaculars as well, “gear” is slang for “drugs”. (Wiktionary just lists it as slang, so I’d guess it’s common across a lot of English dialects.)

   For every guy I get finding me through “gear” who is interested in hi vis or sports kit, I get about ten guys who want to sell or buy drugs. This is pretty annoying.

   I also assume Grindr as a company don’t want to be a platform for the trade of illicit drugs. So I’d suggest changing “gear” to something less ambiguous.

   I’m struggling to think of a tag to change it to… “clothes” is sort of technically correct but sounds completely wrong. “kit” kinda works but only really in British and some Commonwealth dialects.

   The tags glossary (would be helpful to integrate that better, too; when I’m adding tags to my profile it would be nice to know what they mean!) gives this definition for “gear”:

   Is aroused by fetish gear, such as harnesses, restraints, and the like.

   I’d say that’s not exactly what I mean by it, but you could just change it to “fetishgear” and keep the existing definition consistent while reducing ambiguity.

7. Spam notifications

   There are small things that help to tell if someone could be fake such as the "new user" label and the "sent from country" label (that is really inconsistent and doesn't stay their longer than one message, so if they send more than one before you open it it doesn't display?) We need more permanent popups to show at least the general area such as country of origin at all times, so many fake accounts don't get labelled correctly as foreign spam.

   What's more it would be helpful if there was a comment section when you report spam, most accounts now don't say anything sus, just link or ask for Snapchat details where the scam actually takes place, I need to be able to actually describe how (regardless of how it looks) they are spamming us even on other websites.

   I need the keep the order of the people I have blocked. That's because sometimes I want to unblock someone or simply I just want to erase the messages but keep the contact with someone. However, this isn't possible if there is disorder in the list of people I have blocked.

    According to CDC there is no difference between Neg, Neg on Prep and Undetectable. Why to create such a difference in the app? It promotes stigma related to HIV and it’s not fair to those who use medication at all !!!!

    Vi que ja tentará colocar mas, acho meu direito de bloquear quem me bloqueou pois ficamos a mercê do que bloqueou pois nossas fotos de perfil ficam em sua lista. E claro que se pode abrir outra conta é infernizar a vida do que bloqueou.     Why should we have to pay for this app in the first place? How are we supposed to try connect/talk to someone when you have to be within their range to talk to them without paying for this app?! And what idiot limited the profile views when apps like MeetMe/SKOUT allows you to view whoever viewed you without payments to see more people?? We should be able to talk to people for free wherever they are in the world instead of having to pay to do so because if other apps allow you to then so should Grindr, stop being money hungry!

19. You advise that if it can’t go on Instagram, it can’t be here, yet there are almost nude women on Instagram.

    Why can’t you simply put a “nudity” veil over any photo or over people who pay your ridiculous unlimited fees so that you can click on it to see it or not if you don’t. You over charge on this app then subject top paying members to extreme censorship. I understand google and apple but for the money you should put your heads together and come up with something since I can see asscheeks all day on instagram and don’t see apple or google stopping it.

20. Camera filters (privacy)

    A lot of people complain about “headless torsos” to the point where it becomes a meme. There’s a whole subculture created around this one phenomena on the app. Seeing terms like “NPNC” is just as annoying as not finding the right guy but it’s unnecessarily outcry for control and disrespectful to those who have reasons for wanting to remain anonymous. Sharing our photos reveals a lot about a person and puts those of us who have jobs at risk. A lot of us don’t want to wear our sex lives like a billboard when we go about our daily lives. Respecting privacy choices should be something Grindr looks into.

    There should be an option to take a photo within the app and choose a live filter that hides aspects of your face (blurs, banners, masks, etc). This would ensure real people through the use of exclusive filters much like Snapchat & Instagram.
