  2. Add notes while blocking

    Users on the app from time to time block few profiles for various reasons. I believe the capability to add a note while blocking will help to identify why I blocked someone when I'm on the 'unblock' section.

  4. Add an option to mute ad audio.

    Some of the ads you are running currently, especially the little ones at the top of the message screens, play loud audio out of the blue even when Grindr is only open in the background. This app should be discreet, and there should be a control that makes it possible to stop loud and uninvited audio from playing without warning.

  5. Include host, can’t host, travel on bio.

    Pretty basic…. But it would be nice to have on the bio an option to include if you’re looking to host, travel or both.

    Grindr could be like tiktok and snap where gay guys could express them selves to attract people and interact in a more fun way the way we interact on this app is very unhealthy because it's too limited it doesn't help gay guys come out of their shells

  7. Verification of any STD or HIV status mandatory

    You guys should verify users' STD or HIV status by getting their report in pdf or whatever format.It will be very important for the users health as well as society.And also we can have authenticated partners who does not make random fake profiles by matching their profile data from backend (set limit to 2-3 profiles per person).

  8. Bring back the list of Explore locations.

    The latest update has moved shit around and now the Explore option no longer brings up a list of places I've recently looked at. I travel a lot, and being able to quickly get back to a location was very helpful.

  9. Fakers abound!

    Here’s my idea…use facial recognition software to root out fake profiles! They are rampant! Fortunately, they’re also pretty stupid and easy to spot. But, I guess as long as the app is making money, nobody cares.

  10. Delete multiple images at once

    If you’ve ever tried to delete some of your photos you have in your collection, you’ll know it is so much effort to delete multiple pics in one sitting. Why not have a feature to allow you to select multiple pictures at once and do a mass deleting, just like on a normal photo gallery. This would save so much time because it’s just took me over half an hour to delete random pics (ones I had to delete because it was making my Grindr slow)

  13. Allow transgender men/ AFAB individuals to post photos to their profile that other cis men can.

    I am a transgender man and I’ve been using grindr for about three years (on and off). The one thing that I find disappointing about grindr is that cis men can use pictures of them without clothes (genitals covered) on their profile, but transmen/AFAB people cannot. I try adding a picture as showing as much body/skin that a cis man is showing, but mine gets rejected. This is incredibly transphobic and it’s clear grindr doesn’t care to adjust the criteria for pictures uploaded to a users profile. They are saying I’m not a man therefore I can’t do the same…

  16. Why did y’all get rid of “Pacific Islander” as an ethnicity option? We still exist!

    Y’all used to have Pacific Islander as an ethnicity option but it’s no longer available. We still exist! And want to connect with others in our community! You say you’re committed to inclusion but you allow others to identify, but we can’t. Also it’s AAPI month! Please add Pacific Islander as an ethnicity option!

    Buenos días quiero informales que las distancias de grindr van muy mal , pues a personas que tengo a metros de distancia me salen a kms y me gustaría resolvieran ese problema lo antes posible ya que de esa manera no podemos quedar con nadie . Muchas gracias

  18. Blockierfunktion verbessern

    Das Personen nachdem man sie blockt oder geblockt wird einfach verschwinden ist Mist. Ich bin grade zum wiederholten Male von einem Fake Profil verarscht worden, geblockt und nun ist das Profil für mich einfach weg. Ich hab nichteinmal die Möglichkeit das Profil zu melden um andere davor zu schützen. Zumindest der Chat und eine melden Funktion sollten auf jeden Fall nach dem Blockieren noch vorhanden sein! Das können andere Apps besser!

  19. Bring back location spoofing

    I used a GPS spoofer as did many other for safety and work reasons. I normally only set it a few blocks away! The newest update removed that ability and made me consider moving to another app.

  20. No para de saltarme anuncios y son larguísimos

    Creo que deberían reducir el tiempo y frecuencia de anuncios en ocasiones me salen Tres seguidos y el áspalo flecha no funcionan teniendo que cerrar y abrir la app
