Why are there so many adds with grindr unlimited?!?! Stop it.
The amount of adds being pushed at me, all from grindr itself, while paying for unlimited is obnoxious. Stop it.

Make the app actually work
Since the last update the app is worse than before. Extremely unresponsive. Messages being sent but not shown at all. Receiving 3 notifications for the same tap and no notifications for messages, or notifications after 3 minutes the message was sent. Taps appearing after 10 minutes. The current update on iphone has made it even less responsive than before with huge delays even when sending a simple message.

Get rid of edge
GET RID OF EDGE, I pay to be a member to avoid all ads yours included. All you cunts want is money money money from us, you take shit away an then try and give it back but charge us for it. ITS TIME GRINDR WAS REPLACED.

Stop randomly placing people from 100+ miles away in my nearby feed.
It's EXTREMELY aggravating when you find some one to hook up with and you find out 20 minutes into the conversation and youre ready and wanting to meet up that they live in Canada 280 miles away from you.

Madonna skin and notifications
Like the idea of skins like snap offers and a way to choose the notification instead of being bated out at a party or whatever ..i mean why can’t we change that sound whenever we want! but does Madonna know how pissed people are as grindr is so glitchy it’s tells you you have changed the icon every few minutes some times the skin works some times the notification works you really need to get a grip and stop using customers as beta testers.

The unlimited subscription is way too expensive.
Paying almost half of $100 every month for a mobile app has become too expensive. With respect, the monthly fee is similar to what most other paid apps charge annually for a subscription. The cost of a Grindr subscription for a year is $519.48, which is exorbitant. The cost of Xtra is still high, but comparatively reasonable. Right now feature
There is a map now inside the right now feature?! Why? Leaving it on the grid type or list worked fine. No reason the map needs to show my location or anyone else’s UNTIL both parties agree to meeting and they can swap locations as we have done before.

Tone down the ads
The ads are outrageous. I dislike mid typing for an Ad to pop up when trying to message someone back. The app has gotten worse over the last few years. Tone down the ads at least not pop up during your mid typing message.

Get rid of fake AI generated profiles
I've enjoyed Grindr for many years but in the last month or so it is becoming increasingly unusable for a gay man looking to meet other men.
The app is getting overrun with fake profiles, using AI generated photos purporting to be Transwomen. I've also seen some profiles purporting to be Cis women. The latter raises a serious question about what Grindr is - inclusivity is one thing, opening it up to all comers is quite another. Inclusivity taken to it ultimate conclusion just results in invisibility of those who Grindr started out trying to serve.

Please have an option to remove anything Madonna from the app. This is so ridiculous. I am unlimited member and all I do is get ads. I don’t need it that’s why I paid. I understand you must pay her something for this, but Jesus too much. I’ve just downgraded.

Less intrusive ads
Currently, the ads are very intrusive, which hinders a good browsing experience. If I compare Grindr with Scruff, Scruff is definitely better because it has a better user experience since its ads are located in a specific section.
