   I would like to filter out TransWoman. I don’t have anything against them, but it takes up space by someone I absolutely have no interests in and they just fill up space. I’m paying for something I am not interested in. It is all over the app. I block them and they keep popping up.

15. Option to keep sound turned off for advertisements

    Have a switch that we can toggle to turn on/off sound in advertisements. Because they are 1) super fucken annoying and 2) not mindful of the environments that we be in while using the app.

    I mean they should Technically already be adjusted by turning off sounds in the settings menu but because this app is made by a bunch of [a word for piles of sticks, i.e. and closely related to the way cigarettes in the uk are called fags] they don’t give a fuck what the ads do.

    but why did you prohibit the fictitious positions? what does privacy have to do with mock locations? I live in a big city and thanks to mock locations I met my ex boyfriends who otherwise I would never have chatted with since they didn't show up nearby. this is no longer a dating app but only to steal money. your subscription is ridiculously expensive!     Subject: Feature Request – Role-Based Visibility Filter

    Hi Grindr Team,

    I’d love to suggest a feature that would enhance the user experience for many of us. Currently, while we can filter who we see based on roles (Top, Bottom, Vers, etc.), there’s no option to control who sees us in return.

    For example, as a Bottom, I’d prefer not only to see only Tops but also to be seen only by Tops—rather than appearing in the grids of other Bottoms or Vers users, who aren’t my preference. Similarly, Tops who want to see only Bottoms could choose to be visible only to Bottoms.

    This would make matches more efficient and prevent unwanted interactions, ultimately leading to better connections. I know that the SURGE app has implemented this, and I found it extremely useful—but their user base isn’t as large as Grindr’s.

    I hope you consider adding this as an optional setting so users have more control over their visibility and interactions. I truly believe it would make a huge difference in how people connect on the app.

    I get that Grindr wants to be inclusive and what not but alright it’s easy to ween out the females but there’s LITERALLY heterosexual males on the app blantly being rude and disrespectful about not being interested in men and only wants Trans/mtf/crossdressers on their profile.     Sexual Preference: Gay Male looking for Gay Male, Straight Male looking for Female, Straight Male looking for trans female, Trans Female looking for Gay Male, Trans Females looking for Gay Men, Trans Female looking for Gay/Straight Males. Bisexual Male looking for Female/Male/trans etc etc you get the picture.

    Give us those options and make it a requirement like Tinder does when creating an account. What you Identify as and then what you’re looking for and all the options and even an option to fill in the blank.

    I’m just tired of clicking every male profile and seeing Trans only, no dudes only female, trans or crossdressers. I block and block to clear the spam (to me) accounts because that’s not what I’m looking for on their and I’m not going to be paying for that either. I’ve been paying for Unlimited just to be able to endlessly block straight men looking for trans.
