Make the navigation bar colour adapt to grindr
It is always white in light theme which i mostly use

There should be an option to have different colors for chat. Why am I stuck to one default ugly color sceme

Need for example use theme style whatsapp. If other people see my phone when i use app they think i chat into whatsapp or other chat. Change colour chat possibility

Allow users to change color of the chat so it is safer to use the app in public

Similar to the discreet app icon, it would be great to have a color mode (or modes) so that the chat appears closer to iOS or Facebook messenger (or other OS messaging color schemes) for when you don’t want it to be so obvious you are using Grindr around other people.

You have the DAI, but when notificatíons pop up ,it always says Grindr. It should match the DAI that is chosen.

When using the app how about being able to choose a different colour other then orange - purely so that it’s more discreet…?!

I would love it if Grindr had a plain looking UI option. I know other apps have a dark mode but what if grindr could have a light mode without the obvious dark background and orange and blue chat bubbles? I would love to be able to use Grindr more discreetly in public. Make it happen!

The color scheme in the app is instantly recognizable. Even if some people don't use the app, they've seen Grindr memes etc. So if you're trying to be discreet but out in public, someone behind you may know the colors even if they can't read the chat. So color options would be nice. Maybe a white background to look like a text message app.

Hide app name “Grindr” as it is easily recognisable.

I think since you can be able to change the icon of the all I think you should be able to change the name of the app so when you get a notification on your phone instead of it saying Grindr it should say a name you want if your discreet

Since we have the option to change the apps appearance it be nice to be able to change its name because no matter the icon it will still say grinder so anyone who is looking for the app on someone’s phone they will know what the name is at least and it’s not really worth doing to change the look if they can still know it’s grinder

Totally agree! Not only bc of being descreet but also to customize the colours for fun (want my grindr being green and pink 💕)

Hello! First of all great app! It would be a great idea if you let the users change the color of the messages in the chat!

I don't know about it affecting mental health issues, but the lite colors with white text makes it incredibly hard to see. I agree there should be options to suit different users. Thank you.

Should have a way to hide the name of the app

Being able to change the name of the icon when you edit your home screen would be great, especially for those of us who need to be extremely discrete about it

There is an option to change the picture of the icône of the application fore discretion on the phone. But on iPhone we can’t change also the name « Grindr » by something else whereas on other phone, we can do it :/
