Yes please, I really really want this! I understand that black and orange is part of Grindr’s brand identity, but it’s also synonymous with the hook-up culture associated with the app. I use Grindr for making friends and going on dates, and I’d love if there were alternate colour theme options that would make it less obvious which app I’m using.

An option to change to user interface color would be nice, as well as the notification tone lmao

It's so hard to see yellow numbers on yellow background

White text on yellow background is a really bad idea. Even for guys with good eye sight - even worse so for those with visual impairment. If you type numbers Android will make them selectable and turn them yellow and hence make them invisible. If I send my phone number to someone I cannot check if I typed it correctly after I sent it.

Easy fix: Just make the text black on yellow.

El cambio por libre alberdrio en los colores de los mensajes que es por default amarillo , y el fondo de negro,
Sugiero para la idea algo como los fondos de la apl whatsapp que tiene figuritas universales tiene fondo en diferentes colores,
Y asi teniendo una variable de 8 a 10 fondos diferentes y una variedad de almenos 2 tonalidades de los colores primarios y secundarios seria por ensima de los mil combinaviones posible, asi seria facil sacar el celular y usar la app en una reunion de amigos o en hn restaurant , nadie tendria comk identificar el uso de la app en publico porq seria una jococidad que alguien identifique algo asi ,
Esta idea aumentaria el uso de la app por usuario en minimo un 3/4, del tiempo habitual ,

Con unas gracias y no blokear mi cuenta jamas sin antes tener una conversacion conmigo, y algunos meses gratias primiun seria estupendo. Pero lo mas importante para mi , es el bien comun , y lo deceo para todos . I wished there was a way to customize chat colors. Right now when I use dark mode on Android it's almost unreadable.

I'm having a difficult time freely useing the app being discreet. It's way too obvious and I need to customize it to feel like I'm on Facebook messenger. I am forced to hide or not use the app otherwise.

Guys for years the colors of this app have been the same black and orange. Makes it feel dark and dunge. If the app is used or opened anywhere in public it’s so obvious. I think it’s time to give the option of 2 or 3 background themes to choose from
