1. Identity Verification Feature

   I think it would very useful to implement a feature in order to verify the identity of a Grindr User in order to ensure that the profile photos are not fake. For example let's consider this scenario.
   1) I have some face pics on my Grindr profile.
   2) I want to have something on my profile who demonstrates that my face pics are not fake.
   3) I use some tool that asks me to open my camera and to put my face on a frame in order to record data of my face.
   4) This tool will use some images processing algorithms that controls if my face matches with my profile photos.
   5) If constraint #4 is not violated Grindr App will put on my profile some logo who demonstrates that my profile is verified.
   This functionality should be free, since data protection is a fundamental right.

4. Block freature thet works

   Blocking needs to be unlimited for everyone, it's a safety issue and personal security issues, I believe it's illegal to not let us block someone online in many countries including mine, grinder out back unlimited blocks or face legal action.

6. Hsv2 declaration option like hiv feature for profiles

   Much like the option already given to users for HIV status declarations the feature proposed would be a close to being mirrored and easy code for web engineering and design team to reproduce exactly as you have already done for covid-19 descriptors recently given to users as an additional description feature.

   NEW DESCRIPTION FEATURE that would greatly benefit user profiles would be for Genital/sacral/oral herpes simplex viral infections these conditions are also known as a persons HSV-1 and HSV-2 status.

   The CDC statistics provided in 2022 reports that “roughly 18.6 million people living with HSV-2 reside in the United States.”

   With an additional reporting that
   “Around 1 of every 9 people in the United States between the ages of 14 and 49 has HSV-2”

   Having the opportunity for users to declare their status would help to destigmatize embarrassment around communication with partners and benefit the community health as a whole to start the national conversation and encouragement of frequent testing preventative measures for discordant partners to take to greatly mitigate transmission risk. Suppression antivirals and prophylactic medication and cleanliness habits to shower immediately before planned close sexual contact and another shower as soon as possible after close sexual contact. The use of barriers for partners to use could even be used to secure sponsor ship to promote clothing to cover most skin and to provide minimal access openings to allow penetration and exposure of sex organs. Think wrestling suits or body suits with a hole in the back for your asshole and a hole in the front for a cock and balls to be on display. This reduction of skin to skin contact would reduce risk of exposure to possible herpes shedding in pubic, taint, ass, lower back areas with a barrier. 7. Blacklist filter

   Need a filter limiting who can find me based on some basic features like age. Some may like it but I‘d rather not be stalked be guys twice my age or more.

10. Please implement the safe sex option

    Due to the emergence of prep, a lot of guys engage in bareback anal sex. Please include a drop down menu for us to indicate whether we have sex with prep, condoms or both. I myself find it increasingly difficult to find guys who still are okay with using condoms.

12. The "Location" tool has NEVER worked on my iOS devices! It won't open in any outside map apps (Google or Apple.) Why? Please fix!!

    When someone sends me a "location" or when I try to send one on any of my iOS devices, it doesn’t work. Never has. It will show me the "pin" within the Grindr app itself but when I try to expand to an outside mapping application nothing happens. it doesn’t even give you the physical address (street number or name.) when people send it to me I have to tell them it doesn’t work on my phone and half the time they think I’m lying or trying to scam them I guess. Why is this and what can be done to update or fix it?

13. 'Last tested' date without sexual health status

    I'd like to be able to set a "last tested" date without having to specify a sexual health status; at the moment it resets to unset if you try.
    The reason is that my status is "Positive; undetectable". I don't want to lie by selecting anything else, but I don't want people to instantly discard me as soon as they see the "positive" bit. Having just a (recent) date, though, would signal someone who's up-to-date of his status.
    Also, having it reset when unset means you can't use the test reminder system if you do not wish to disclose your status.

15. Travel profile

    Allow xrtra/unl subscribers to create a temporary travel profile, (only 1 profile can be used at a time) but usually when I am at home I don’t have my profile pic and a lot of profile info showing but when I travel I do, it would be nice to maybe create a sub profile, having to remove all the messages from the place I was just at to clean up my inbox is a pain, when I could just delete the travel profile when I come back, and return back to my primary profile, I know this could easily be done by just creating another account but then I will lose my benefits of my subscription service.

17. Make tags hidden

    Tags are fun but I don't want everyone to know what kinky stuff I'm into because it might deter them from speaking with me. If we have the option of hiding our tags from being visible to other, it would allow for us to show up in searches for our tags without them being visible to everyone.

19. Mark used photos

    Until recently, when you use one of your photos in a message, that photo was grade out in your available photos within that same message. It made it very easy to know what you had already sent. Please reactivate that feature. Thank you!
