1. Verification of any STD or HIV status mandatory

   You guys should verify users' STD or HIV status by getting their report in pdf or whatever format.It will be very important for the users health as well as society.And also we can have authenticated partners who does not make random fake profiles by matching their profile data from backend (set limit to 2-3 profiles per person).

   Crossdresser is not a Gender. It's an Activity. Please remove this word from the gender list.

   Also .. Trans is a nickname. It either means Transgender, or Transvestite. These two groups are at opposite ends of lived experience. One is a sexual fetish, the other a personal gender identity.

   Transvestites and Crossdressers need to identify properly in their Tribes, and seperately fro. Transgendered people.

   A man in panties identifying as Transman (a label for females living as men) shows the confusion within the fetish crossdresser group.

   Much like the option already given to users for HIV status declarations the feature proposed would be a close to being mirrored and easy code for web engineering and design team to reproduce exactly as you have already done for covid-19 descriptors recently given to users as an additional description feature.

   NEW DESCRIPTION FEATURE that would greatly benefit user profiles would be for Genital/sacral/oral herpes simplex viral infections these conditions are also known as a persons HSV-1 and HSV-2 status.

   The CDC statistics provided in 2022 reports that “roughly 18.6 million people living with HSV-2 reside in the United States.”

   With an additional reporting that
   “Around 1 of every 9 people in the United States between the ages of 14 and 49 has HSV-2”

   Having the opportunity for users to declare their status would help to destigmatize embarrassment around communication with partners and benefit the community health as a whole to start the national conversation and encouragement of frequent testing preventative measures for discordant partners to take to greatly mitigate transmission risk. Suppression antivirals and prophylactic medication and cleanliness habits to shower immediately before planned close sexual contact and another shower as soon as possible after close sexual contact. The use of barriers for partners to use could even be used to secure sponsor ship to promote clothing to cover most skin and to provide minimal access openings to allow penetration and exposure of sex organs. Think wrestling suits or body suits with a hole in the back for your asshole and a hole in the front for a cock and balls to be on display. This reduction of skin to skin contact would reduce risk of exposure to possible herpes shedding in pubic, taint, ass, lower back areas with a barrier. And dang don’t dudes look good in skin tight role play gear, added bonus that would allow sexual adult clothing gear companies to advert on your platform. 9. Create some version of AOL Instant Messenger's old "Warn" feature for flakes/fake profiles

   In addition to the usual spam/bot accounts, this app has way too many users who either have fake profiles or lead people on without ever intending to actually meet (presumably most of them are just pic collectors). I would wager that all of us have experienced this multiple times. Grindr and other apps need create a feature similar to the Warn button that AIM had in the early 00s.

   Essentially, every user had a Warn meter that started at 0%. The feature was intended to alert others if a particular user was hostile, a scammer, or otherwise should be avoided. If someone hit the Warn button on your profile, the meter would go up a small amount, and then slowly decrease over time back to 0. If your meter got too high (because multiple other users Warned you), certain restrictions would kick in. First, the number and frequency of messages you could send would be limited and at a certain Warn level, your account would effectively be suspended for several days.

   Obviously this feature would need some tweaking and updating to work for Grindr in the 2020s and to prevent it being abused by users. But it would ACTUALLY do something to eliminate bad faith actors and fake profiles on this site if a reputation for repeated bad behavior became attached to their profiles. Even if grindr doesn't want to use it to issue bans, it would at least allow the rest of us to avoid the guys who come here with bad intentions .

11. Chat lost when you are blocked, seriously?

    It has absolutely no sense to hide chat history when someone is blocking me. How can I prove if I get harassed? How can I report the guy? How can I block him?
    Luckily this didn't happen with me, but I regularly run into fake profiles and before I can do anything they block me.

12. Sent Location to Maps App

    This will make the app much more like Jack’d.
    When using Jack’d, I was able to open the maps from a tiny text link in the lower right hand corner.
    Once clicked it opens your primary app for maps.
    I don’t know why but when on iPhone - Grindr doesn’t open the maps, but on Android it does. When my phone is about to die I want to locate or navigate prior to advancing to the host. Can you please implement this in the next few updates?

13. I receive multiple vanishing pics from spam accounts every day but non from genuine users

    These are sent via bots which block as soon as the pic is viewed. The use of disappearing pics and knowing when an image is read must mean these are premium accounts. The pattern of behaviour would be easy to search for so these accounts could be permanently banned. It's irritating enough I've taken the time to write this out!

    Due to the emergence of prep, a lot of guys engage in bareback anal sex. Please include a drop down menu for us to indicate whether we have sex with prep, condoms or both. I myself find it increasingly difficult to find guys who still are okay with using condoms.

18. More realistic options of where to meet on profile

    Currently, guys only meet at their houses, a bar or restaurant. How about meeting outdoors, a park, a truck stop, a cottage, a cinema or a sauna/bathhouse? The current selection doesn’t reflect where guys meet (or may want to) at all

    The user/subscriber should have more control over the app and not have to lose their place when they are scrolling a page whether it be their favorites, nearby, or fresh.
