Use driving/walking distance instead or straight line
I think that the distance shown should be derived from walking or driving distance and not a straight line from point to point.
This would help me out a lot. I live on the bank of a canyon. There are guys about 700 meters from me on the other side. But it's a 35 minute drive to get to them. And they fill my grid so that I don't see many other guys that are really only a 10 or 15 minute walk from me.

Filter people by their interests
Additional tags for what you like and/or don't like. That way you could filter out all the people who aren't interested in your body type instead of having the same conversation over and over.

Location Fix
My idea is fix the location. I just wasted another day. No hookups. Just frustrated men across the board. This is unacceptable I'm an Unlimited member, great dick, good body and I cannot get a date off this crap. I could spend that $ on a couple drinks anywhere tonight and get something going. I'm not getting replies from the staff here. It's clear you don't value my business. I'll give it til Sunday eve. That's it. I hope you can figure it out but right now I'm paying Full Price for a 10th of what I agreed to purchase...

Jumping menu items - sneaky
When viewing menu settings, there’s a brief moment where edit profile button appears in one location only to be quickly replaced by a button to purchase a subscription. This is deliberate and can lead to unintentional purchases. Is the hope here people with automatic payment set up accidentally make a purchase and then decide it’s too hard to reverse and keep it? Let’s not resort to trickery like this.

Profile verfication by identity or passport bio for asia
Specifically in Sri Lanka, grinder application is used to physically asult, financial demand and social tarnish the gay bi person by the group of organized criminals.
Please add the mandate security feature of mobile number verfication and identity verfication via identify card /passport bio matric scan to avoid future mis use of grinder. Further more work with local authority to resolve this matter to safe guard the genuine bi n gay community3 votes -

I think to colour the grindr grid from the dull greyish silhouette man (no profile picture), Grindr should at least encourage any picture
Rather than having these scattered grim darkish coloured silhouette profiles, albeit discreet as they might be and for any reason sensitive or not. The grid would look far better with any photo as a profile picture be it you face, body (within guidelines), or perhaps favorite holiday destination, food, gym pose, symbol, tattoo or car. NO darkness - all colour : ))

The ease of catfishers to create a vast amount of profiles and dominate the memevers shown in order to gayher information and extort people.
You should really consider validating with an IP address or phone number as this phenomenon is how I was kidnapped many years ago, via this very app.

Choose chat back up time.
Would be nice for users to be able to choose the chat back up time. I work nights and my phone is hardly connected wifi or plugged in, as to meet the requirements for it to back up. Therefore it never gets backed up.

Mutual exchange of pics
If someone request a pic and you send it they can not retrieve the picture without sending a picture also to unlock the pic that you send, stop ppl feel vulnerable online after sending pictures and then getting no response or even blocked straight afterwards security flaws allow you to turn off your data and still screen shot expiring pics then reboot the app and turn data signal back on allow them to steal your image without anyone knowing ,
