Only Gays
This isn’t to bash anyone or discriminate against any gender or gender identity, but this used to be an app where gays could come to meet, hookup, chat, etc. But now with trans and CD’s making profiles on a site that wasn’t created for them, they’re taking away from the grid space that gays would otherwise have to interact. I also don’t believe that straight guys should be allowed to make profiles on grindr because I honestly believe that half of those profiles are fake and used to extract personal information from the gays that attempt to interact with them. This started as a gay app and I wish it still was. Aren’t there other specific apps for other genders and identities? Especially now since one of the main filters has been removed the grid is more crowded than ever with folks who aren’t even interested in gay guys. I’d really like this app to go back to being gay again.

Grindr stopped being a safe space when they started allowing women on the app about 2 years ago.

This is ridiculous. grindr is a gay hookup app. If it’s a queer hookup app for all genders it’s no longer a gay hookup app.Think of it from a bussiness perspective trans are a fraction of a fraction of the population. Why would you endanger your market position by changing your product and upsetting your customers?

Cd's can be gay as well. They are just guys dressing up as women. It's an app that supports the LGBTQ+ community which cd's are a part of, right? So they have every right to be on Grindr. You have no say in who isn't allowed on the app. Besides, don't be mad bcuz we are more desirable than "gay masculine men". If you don't like seeing us then get off the app or waste time blocking us all.

Gay is a term that primarily refers to a ********** person or the trait of being **********. The term was originally used to mean "carefree", "cheerful", or "bright and showy. So women can be gay. Trans can be gay too. Yes you're right there are website pacifically for transgender dating but the cost money and nobody likes to be to be able to chat and meet someone I'm on the site and I'm 100% woman I'm trying to meet a trans female -
