Messages Sent to Wrong Recipients via Notifications
When I try to send a message to a specific user from the notifications, the message gets sent to all users who recently sent me a message and appear in the notifications.
In other words, if I want to reply to a specific person from the notifications and someone else messages me, the message gets sent to the other person instead of the intended recipient.

Hide needs to be removed

Add the option to toggle off the read receipt
Add the option to turn Read receipt on and off. I don't want to know if someone read my messages because each person has his timeline of responding, some people take half a day to respond after reading due to many reasons; however i take it personal that they have read and not responded, especially to my pics, and i lose my patience. I don't want to know if they've seen my messages or not. That way it'll be easier for me to makeup an excuse for them for not responding and fool myself that they will soon ... insteaf…

Interest Age Range
Like on tinder, you should be able to set the age range you’re interested in; there for only showing you’re account to that age range. This would stop older men taking advantage of younger men, also have age verification; profile user would have to send a photo of there ID to get there age verification which would add a blue tick or whatever symbol you want to said account.

Guys that only want to see your face pic without intention of meeting
I think that Grindr should find a way of figuring out all those persons that are asking face pics without a single intention of meeting and that is just for malicious purposes such as intimidation, gossip in any event nothing good comes out of it. Since grindr can use AI to analyse the chat and see whether a uses is commonly doing this type of behaviour moreover they should be able to spot it. Add a distance filter where users can select a range, like 1 km or 5 km, and only see people within that selected radius. Anyone outside the
