1. Ban users based on text string

   I accidentally engage with 1 onlyfans creator and now I'm inundated with taps from guys who are only on grindr to farm olyf subs. Aside from it being slightly questionable on the data management side, it's having quite a negative impact on my experience and I'd like to be able to do something about it. I'd like to enter a text string and hide anyone that has that in the bio/description.

2. No respect for users, blatant attempt at a money grab as Grindr dilutes the grid with fake profiles

   Grinders treatment of its users has become is disrespectful as any app I can recall. Generation of multiple fake profiles that are duplicated every 40 to 50 mi in the grid serve no purpose whatsoever besides diluting the grid in The continued lack of respect grinder has for its users and the obscene level of greed this company embraces. $20 a month for an app is a lot. $40 is insane but people pay it myself included. Not because it is worth it but just because the app is so fucking terrible. If you don't have it it becomes basically unusable. And that is referring to the app going back a few years today. Not having one of the premium subscriptions means the app is no more than an ad generating POS. I cannot believe unmitigated Gall of this company intentionally create dozens of fake profiles. Repeat them every 40 or 50 mi. They're not selling anything. They're not spam. They are designed to look on the surface like real profiles but they're obviously not. Brian are said they wanted to eliminate spam and they wanted to get rid of all this other stuff. Well at least the spam was real and not made by the company who made the app for no reason besides making the user experience as unpleasant and frustrating as possible to try to force people into spending money on it. I've paid $40 a month for quite some time more out of habit than anything. 0 everybody has suffered through this garbage and these terrible clunky apps. This terrible redesigns apps crashing constantly. Nothing working right. It just being nothing but a complete klusterfuk but people still pay for it. Thank you for encouraging me with your there's a complete lack of respect for your customer base along with rewarding Customer loyalty by intentionally making your product worse knowingly creating junk profiles just to force people to have to pay for your product to use it. I'd always thought pretty low of the company but I hoped in time that they would improve and thought by beta testing and paying for it and trying to be involved. Maybe I could provide some insight or offer anything to help improve an app that has been around for a long time consistently gets worse. But I see now that that I was stupid and played for a fool by this company. Just like everybody else that's paying for it and using it. I for one will not ever buy a subscription or give them another dime. In fact, I think the best route will be to delete all of my data from the app and then uninstall it and find something else. Paying $500 a year. This company work at making their product as poor as they can in order to try to get people who aren't paying for it to pay for it is unconscionable. Everybody's ripping consumers off these days. We all know that but this is so egregious and insulting that I for one would rather not use anything than endorse this company. Your loyalty is noted the onger you've been a customer and the more you have paid Grindr. They document it because the more you give them and the more loyal you are, the more they spit in your face. The audacity and complete disregard for the customers who have made this trash app. What it is should be repaid back to grinder in kind ideally with nobody paying for it anymore and them either selling it shutting it down or making at least some semblance of a working, scalable product. Seems like it would be a great place to work. Go in everyday instead of improving things do your best to find ways to make a bad product worse. 5. Xtra don't want pop ups or fuckin ads in messages that return after you deleted them

   Pop ups and ads in my inbox that come back like a disease after you delete them

7. Screen your profiles better

   You need to do a better job screening out the spammers from your profiles. And all the fake profiles that keep getting created. It is getting ridiculous when 75% of the profiles are fake people

10. I would love to see language tags!

    That way I could search "English," "ASL," or "German" and if they have the language tag I could find them. This could help people who want to find others who speak their language or help people who want to learn a language by meeting new people!

11. Remove the tap / like button on expiring albums

    I pay for extra and prefer to send albums on view once, however even when I send them as view once people can still tap each photo in the album giving them access to see my photos after the albums expired. I don’t like this feature at all and completely defeats the purpose of an expiring album. Remove the tap button on expiring albums.

13. Fight the Catfish and Block Screen Shots!!!

    It's simply appalling and disgusting to see that so many of your loyal users have been simply ignored by you over time in regards of a very important privacy concern: STOP the bloody Catfish and the Grindr Theft Picture, make sure to prevent the bloody Screen Shot. Is that really difficult and expensive for such a long time runner and staple of the gay dating app history in the Globe?

14. Too many ads, you have to let up on it

    Let us on these ads, we can’t even see our message without seeing the ad, and then going to answer it and then watching another ad. It’s too much and you are drunk on money right now.

15. “Accepts NSFW pictures” setting should be meaningful

    If my account is set to “not at first”, other users should not be able to send pictures unsolicited. I can’t stand being continually harassed with unwanted images because respecting my choices is optional for the sender.
    Obviously we can’t monitor the image content constantly, but perhaps a prompt on sender end to inform them of my account setting such as;
    “This user has stated they do not accept NSFW pictures at first, send anyway?” Since most don’t even read accounts before sending, as a deterrent. Maybe paired with the ability on receiver end to hide thumbnails of images sent anyway, and decide to open them or not?

    Grinder is just becoming a cash grab because soon enough we’ll have to pay to message ppl. Wtf are yous doing putting blocking behind a paywall. Sorry it out because I’ve used this app for a long time and I know about privacy laws and this isn’t legal

18. Chaser tag discrimination

    At this point a simple tag "Chaser" has been advocated for on this platform by myself and other users for YEARS. I have seen the most ridiculous other tags added but one that is used across every other gay app is somehow still not included on the most "famous"? Is this discrimination? As a paying member this is outrageous.

19. Hide/Block Shortcut

    Can we add the hide/block feature as a shortcut when you are on the grid and press and hold on someone’s profile please :) Right now you can chat favorite or tap but, can we add hide/block to that as well. This way we don’t have to click on the profile to then click on the upper right corner to hide/block. Especially now that profile views are a huge thing, let’s not add ourselves to their profile viewed list if we don’t have to. Pls :)

    I think we need a confirmation prompt or remove it from the grid space. I’ve accidentally triggered it 3 times. That or have a way to turn it off and save the time remaining
