3. Allow users to re-crop thumbnails for approved profile images more easily w/o having to delete & re-submit the img

   The app needs a feature to allow users to easily adjust profile image thumbnails if we are not pleased with how we cropped the thumbnail when we submitted the photo initially. The UX should be as simple as this:
   1. Tap THUMBNAIL PREVIEW to open the cropping tool.
   2. Pinch/drag to adjust.
   3. Save & return to Edit Photos screen.

   In current state, the user has to delete the picture and then go through the entire submission & approval process again. Then the user must re-order their photos after the pic is approved. This multi-step process wastes time for the user while forcing us to change our profile pic temporarily. The duplicative approval process wastes Grindr’s resources as well.

7. Be able to change the theme colour of the app for a little more discrete messaging

   Would be a great thing to be able to change the theme of the Apple from the blue and yellow bubbles just for some more discrete messaging when in public or NSFW places. This could be a unlimited feature and I think it would add real Value

8. The term “Side” used to describe a sexual preference

   I'm requesting that Grindr removes the option of 'Side' as a sexual preference. The term 'Side' is used to describe individuals who choose not to engage in sexual intercourse. I believe that including this term is counterintuitive and contradictory to sexual behavior. Compared to the sexual roles of top, bottom, and versatile, the inclusion of a role that abstains from sexual activity could potentially pose a threat to homosexual activity. The term 'Side' may also be associated with asexual experimental behavior, where individuals consciously decide not to participate in practical sexual behavior. It is my opinion that terms like 'Side' incrementally attempt to circumvent homosexual behavior. I find it disheartening that popular groups on Grindr would prioritize 'gay' sex over embracing and appreciating homosexual sex. I believe that restricting homosexual activity undermines the concept of being 'Gay.' There appears to be an agenda from privileged families within LGBT or anti homosexual behavior communities who seek to shape and redefine what they deem as acceptable behavior, placing limitations on the homosexual and 'Gay' lifestyle. 9. Reciprocal blocks

   The current system of blocks is one way and open to abuse. When one user blocks another they are able to selectively unblock and then contact them, view them - and then block again. If someone blocks me, I want the option to block them back so they can't message me or see me.

   Another issue with blocks is it's possible to reverse them by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

    App regularly does not load profile pictures, let me receive or send messages without closing the app and reopening it 5 times every time it happens, sometimes it takes 5 minutes and 3 ads to send one message.

14. Having how's pop-up every 20 seconds while I'm chatting with someone

    My user experience has plummeted with the new ads pop up. It used to be maybe once every few minutes currently it's every 20 seconds or less. I typed in a sentence and it pops up and clears my sentence from what I was trying to say. This is absolutely ridiculous it derails my train of thought every single time and is extraordinarily frustrating

17. Accept/Decline Photo Messages

    Have a "Don't allow photos to be sent" feature that prevents others from messaging photos without permission. That is, no one can send you any photo without the receiver first wanting to see photos from the sender. This would dramatically cut back on unsolicited nudes and I think would benefit the community greater. I personally really hate seeing nudes if I don't want to.

18. If you pay for a premium account you should have the ability to turn off read receipts on messages

    So basically like for iPhone should be able to turn your read receipts on/off so that when a user messages you if it read the message it will still show as delivered on the senders end. Or something like skype, where if I turn ny read receipts off then I can’t see if other people view my message to them until I turn them back on.

19. The Majority of Users that are sending pics just to catfish other people pics

    I am using the app for quite some time and I am finding ti really annoying to get request for face pics from users that are sending a pic just to catfish mine. I believe the only solution to this would be for grind to introduce verified profiles to verify the identity of the user with his id and use ai or any other tools to check whether any picture he has in his account not necessarily puclic are his and he can be marked as a genuine and trusted profile, moreover take a page from Romeo while not perfect at least they leave the date of creation of profile so you can see if a profile is new increasing the possibilities to be fakes, the other problems with this negligence you are expsing yourself to GDPR fines as you are a data processor and nobody is consenting to the use of his picture so some curious person can satisfy his curiosity you should take things seriously considering the high premiums you are charging. Perhaps you might want to consider implementing an additional measure that would be something like mystery shopping so you can create a few fake profiles yourself to check on a sample basis the persons that are just collecting pics and are sending pics of other people for harassment, exposure and any other reason that has nothing to do with the app. Moreover I believe is the future people come home tired from their work to be entertained not to be harassed and end up angry, if you don't implement a competitor will, if a competitor will your company might disappear.
