Moderate profiles for all types of discrimination INCLUDING ageism
I find it dismaying and unbelievable that any member who considers them selves apart of the LGBTQ 2+ community anywhere, since he gets appropriate to discriminate against their brothers and sisters, based on race, sexuality, gender, physical appearance, age and health status and it is no longer considered a criminal offence if you do not disclose it. HIV is now a manageable chronic condition using antiretroviral drugs for EVERYONE. Comments regarding physical attributes like “fat” “bald” “ugly” should have no place in a profile. Making users locations impossible to spoof!
It would be incredibly, helpful and more secure if users couldn’t spoof their location, More guys, I talk with are being harassed & more or less stalked on the hook up apps. It’s just not worth it at this point. I had a home invasion because of this situation & I won’t go into details about it. I’m sure you understand the situation. I also know we put ourselves in this situation. However, there has to be something more that can be done.

Discreet photo mode
There should be a mode a user can turn on where any photos received come through blurred or covered and have to be pressed to be revealed. I am often on the train and people can see over my shoulder. Would be nice that a guys naked photos don’t just pop up and have a mode where I can view them once the coast is clear

Better acces to out of range profiles for basic/free subscription accounts
Currently if someone taps/views you and they are out of your plans limited range you cannot view/interact with that persons profile unless they message you, or move within range.
Allow users to interact, view, message only out of range profiles that initiate by message, tap, or view.

Quick screening and blocking
If you’re going to include different genders including trans, non-binary, etc. you have to give us the option to screen those genders out. Why give us the option to screen age and sex position but not gender? Or if people are looking for trans, they should be able to screen for trans. Think it through people - you know what we’re all here for.

Even I know ideas too how to do it,
1) Use another phone to click the phone
2) Install Android emulator in your pc (example: blue stack) now you can use grinder in it and can take screenshots using windows features.And the people doing such stuff not only take the ss and they use them in their album, it may lead to a cloested guy getting exposed and doing suicide, or using someone's identity and God knows the crimes someone can do,

Only 3 free chats is a bit harsh and having to explore in the nearby area instead of getting a free list as it used to be would be good
Please restore Nearby search instead of Explore
3 free chats only makes the app irrelevant and will turn a lot of users away. Grindr is not irreplaceable and a new player in the market could just as easily be the popular app.5 votes -

“5 remaining expiring photos” banner is obstructing user controls
Whenever I go to my photos in a chat, a banner pops up letting me know I have “5 remaining expiring photos” for the day, and includes a link to upgrade.
The problem is that the banner covers up the button to go back to my chats, and it lasts for several seconds longer than it takes to select and send a photo. That might not sound like a long time, but if you’re in a populated area and trying to deal with lots of messages quickly, it’s an excruciating user experience.

Old School Chat Rooms
There was something fun when you could log into a chat room in a generalized area and shoot the shit. Some of us just like to chat but shit gets weird sometimes when it’s one on one. It would definitely create more engagement.
