Why would you make gender uncustomizable?
Taking away people’s ability to explain their gender as they see it is a step backwards. I don’t know why y’all would decide to make this a feature in our current climate. Only explanation I can see is because of the huge number of cis men who use the section to joke about non binary genders, which is understandable. However, those transphobic people should not be the reason that trans people have confines placed on their identities.
Also- the category I would put this in is User Experience but that’s not an option.

Tem como vocês colocar um sistema que possa excluir a mensagem sem vocês cobrar por isso porque p*** m**** precisa cobrar para poder excluir uma mensagem que falta de respeito com cidadão que vocês bota nessa m**** dessa plataforma não tem como excluir foto não tem como excluir mensagem sinceramente o aplicativo nessa parte é uma porcaria

Investment scams
Investment Scams - on 3 occasions now cute Asian guys have befriended me on Grindr and then introduced the fact that they do part time dealings in investing in crypto-currencies or mining coin wallets. On each occasion they have been over complimentary but make excuses not to meet - therefore not sure they are local to me. Also they suggest chatting on WhatsApp and then block you on Grindr so it makes less likely you will be able to report them. I am very aware of their tactics but I am wondering how many Grindr users might be sucked into…

Show distance to tapped profiles
I would like for people that I'm not interested in to not know my distance and when I tap someone, it would appear. That would at least make it a bit more safe in countries where lgbt discrimination is truly awful and hunter profiles exist

Hide/ignore messages from no pic profiles
A "show me" option that makes your profile inaccessible to blank profiles with no pictures and barren bio. The amount of harassment, bigotry and plain creepiness from them is insane compared to others

Grindr needs to stop the "paid study" fraud!!!
Has anybody wonder why you get to asked so many questions before they even tell you you don't qualify for the paid study?

Sexual position should be mandatory as soon as one enters for the first time in the app, the user could set if the sexual position is visible to others or not, but it would be helpful for us to use filters

Stop making the favs update in real time
When searching through your favs, the users keep updating in real time which means profiles keep getting shuffling about and its really annoying! Cant you just let us manually refresh by pulling down at the top if we WANT to see our favs list updated?

Issues from people who are not actual gay or bi on grindr
There are number of people who are not actual gay or bisexual
They just use this app to use gays to get sucked or finding the wives of bi or gays
Which makes uncomfort to homosexual community to be open on this app as well
Make some options to report those accounts or prohibit some words such as girl,lady, wife, straightIt's request i hope your team will do something to combat this issue to bring independent for us

Eliminate the darkening at the bottom of the screen when viewing full screen photos.
When viewing photos full screen, the bottom quarter of the screen darkens. It's annoying and serves no purpose.

Time to crack down on “Gen”
It is time for Grindr to crack down on people looking for money for sex. This is happening constantly. You report the profile and it is under moderation for days or nothing is done: Grindr does so little that people are even putting it on their profile. People get around with words like Gen and whatever else. Grindr moderation is pathetic. I don’t know who has designed their software/algorithms but it is pathetic. Moderation should be excellent and the app would function. Who is making all the money that they charge for premium service and they can’t even moderate this?…
