1. Grindr needs to have some type of Legacy contact info to help disable content of a deceased member. Seeing someone’s profile after they pass

   Seeing someone's profile after they passed away can be quite shocking and disconcerting, There should be an easier way to alert Grindr of someone's passing, so that profile can be disabled quietly and respectfully. Neither a person's content, or their family should ever be affected by the Grindr profile. It's not a point of pride it's just a point of respect. Granted, I could see how someone might try and use this in a malicious way, but with proper proof someone should be able to submit information that Grindr can easily follow up and find out if it’s true and respectfully remove the profile or place it is a quiet memorial status. I have friends in my messages that have passed and do not want to delete them but also seeing them has caused me significant emotional reactions more than once.

   Would y’all be able to add a filter option for HIV status? Being a recently gay HIV + man, I find it difficult and often blocked since I am not -. I know there are other guys out there who are + and it would be nice to filter that in the app.

   Actualmente al activar el icono discreto en la app solo lo hace en el icono principal, mas no en el de la barra de notificación del celular, lo que deja incompleta la función... El modo 'discreto' también debería dejar cambiar el sonido de la notificación de la app.

5. Age interested range and search filter

   Every day I'm turned down by twinks, saying I'm the age of theirs grandpa!

   Shouldn't you make the lives of both of us, a little easier?

   Why don't you add a range age, in the profile of users, that we are interested for, (ex. 30-40) and then a "users interested in my age" filter in search?

   Even the first option will show to others what age they like, and not forcing them to write it in their description, (many they don't even do so), and us of contacting them, only to be ignored, or worst, to get unwanted racist replies for our age.

   We cannot get younger you know.

    Please bring back the old Age Filter. The new sliding bar is really difficult to navigate or be specific with. I want to be able to type in the ages, the sliding bar is not accessible to people with different dexterity.

11. Having how's pop-up every 20 seconds while I'm chatting with someone

    My user experience has plummeted with the new ads pop up. It used to be maybe once every few minutes currently it's every 20 seconds or less. I typed in a sentence and it pops up and clears my sentence from what I was trying to say. This is absolutely ridiculous it derails my train of thought every single time and is extraordinarily frustrating

13. Accept/Decline Photo Messages

    Have a "Don't allow photos to be sent" feature that prevents others from messaging photos without permission. That is, no one can send you any photo without the receiver first wanting to see photos from the sender. This would dramatically cut back on unsolicited nudes and I think would benefit the community greater. I personally really hate seeing nudes if I don't want to.

    Is Grindr spamming its users? I regularly get a spam message or tap 15-20 minutes after i quit the app. Like every time, for the last 2-3 weeks. I think they're doing it to boost engagement. Thoughts?

18. Having to weed out the scammers/impersonators. Have Verified Identity tags on profiles and video chat capability.

    As a PAYING member of this type of social app, it's my strongly held belief that it is that corporation's DUTY to ensure that the person I'm having a typed convo with, is VERIFIABLY the same person portrayed in the profile. You can do that proactively by providing an avenue for verifying identity like many other sites do, using 3rd party ID verification providers. Secondly, this and other sites aggressively warn users not to leave the app or site to talk because "that's a warning sign of scammers." Ok, then give me the tools to proactively verify identity without having to leave the app. You can do that by providing a video chat mechanism. It can be a time-limited micro-chat that both parties can turn on AS THEY ARE ACTIVELY CHATTING, so they can visually match the profile pic with the person typing on the other side of the convo.
    I'm on a serious search for a relationship, and am currently a paying member of 7 different sites and because of the sickening amount of fake profiles ive seen, I pay for 3rd party ID verification services that are time consuming and costly. How AWESOME would it be if I was able to do that without having to leave the app.

20. Auto Backup Chats

    Automatically backup chats starting when account is first created. Instead of auto backup chats off being the default, it should change to auto backup Chats on. So that if you sign out or delete the app when you sign back in you're all your chats in pictures in messages are still there.
