1. Support for Foldable Devices

   Please add better support for foldable devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The app doesn't allow for resizing when running the app from the Cover Screen and going to the Main Display. The app has to be restarted. The current app layout fits the Cover Screen perfectly however, we need a tablet layout that better suits the large Main Display. This really should've been addressed in Android version 12L. We're in version 14 and still have a stretched app when Android's platform codes and SDK's support dynamic layouts.

   Dear Grindr Team,

   I hope this message finds you well. I am a long-time user of Grindr, and I wanted to share my concerns about some recent changes to the platform. Grindr has played a pivotal role in connecting and bringing together the LGBTQ+ community, but I’ve noticed a shift in its focus that has raised some issues.

   Firstly, the decision to group everyone from transgenders, transsexuals, bisexuals, homosexuals, and others into a single category feels like a simplification that doesn’t accurately represent the diverse experiences and identities within the LGBTQ+ community. It’s crucial to acknowledge and celebrate the unique aspects of each group.

   Secondly, the limitations placed on the ability to search profiles have been progressively increasing, to the point where free users can only see a very limited number of profiles. This restriction can be frustrating and discouraging for many users, especially those who may not have the means to afford a subscription.

   Moreover, the apparent manipulation of who can see profiles based on subscription fees rather than GPS location is concerning. The platform should prioritize proximity-based connections for the safety and convenience of its users.

   I urge you to consider the impact of these changes on the gay community and not solely as a source of revenue. While monetization is essential for the sustainability of the platform, it’s equally important to maintain the core values of inclusivity, diversity, and community-building.

   I would appreciate it if Grindr could take these concerns into account and consider making adjustments that better serve the LGBTQ+ community’s interests and needs. Your platform has been an integral part of our lives, and it’s our hope that it continues to be a positive and inclusive space for everyone.

6. System stability

   It's great giving users a platform to have a voice and share the struggles of your system, to vote on issues , obstacles, and quite frankly point out some very basic logical break/fixes. Of data gathered - I hope it is being gathered and not just smoke and mirrors- how is it being used, to better improve your system for the end user, to streamline or group like functions, code in a manner that isn't redundant or untouchable.... what truly is your goal by giving a voice, and are your goals being met?

   There should be the ability radius As to who do you wanna see on Grindr. It’s so weird that where I’m located, I only see people that are 50+ miles away. Unreal. Is it just me or this app seems to be deteriorating and it quickly it is!!

   It is very annoying spams profiles and people that is not really interested to connect and meet. Couldn’t the app show the profile date creation? This way I believe is an additional way to assess a prpfile reliability.

    Give people the unlimited version as a trial maybe For 1 month. Or to the People that are struggling due to the price of living food and going up. We need an escape from something, and a lot of people use grindr for that escape. This can give people a chance to Meet People that are not Close to them, and hopefully find a new connection with someone or finding a new friend. 11. Shoe Size Filter/Ethnicity Filter!!!

    Give guys the option to include their shoe size and allow others to filter according to such. Also, restore the ethnicity filter. It harms everyone and protects no one. I pay for unlimited, so I should have a say in what I get. Users want these features. We are paying you. We can use the unpaid version, so we will get what you give us. But you have paying customers.     O APP deveria fornecer um recurso de segurança para denunciar perfis que usam o APP para extorquir as pessoas, fazendo chantagens com fotos dos usuários e marcar encontros para roubar usuários. Deveria haver bloqueio de print de fotos. O e-mail do usuário banido por extorsão e/ou roubo deveria ser bloqueado e seria proibido de abrir novas contas. A segurança é muito importante uma vez que se trata da privacidade das pessoas.
