Scamming and people being exploited
I've noticed that the grindr app has a lot of scammers and people getting exploited. Bottom line. People are afraid to use this app cause all the scamming. Im good at sniffing scammers out. Let's work together to get rid of of this.

Stop ads from interrupting and deleting messages being typed
Stop ads from interrupting and deleting the message while a message is being typed - incredibly frustrating to have a couple sentences wiped just to get an ad, doubly annoying. At least wait until that message is sent, if you have to!

Have a "match" function
It would be nice to have a "match" function where you could press a button when you like someone and if they press the same button for you you'd get a notification and they'd be put in a specific category. A bit like the "Would you meet" function on Scruff.

Filter per safety practice
More and more users only practice BB, while others (like me) prefer using condoms.

Profile creation date
Please add a new update to your app that will allow us to see when users created their accounts. I'm sure this will protect other people from dangerous individuals using fake profiles.

Get rid of hide . Return block
Hide doesn't work and has removed block feature. I want to block certain people and permanently block them and any new accounts. Get rid of hide.

Stop taking features away and making them part of XTRA
You’ve taken away so many features and made them paid-for
-Age search used to have no minimum range. You could search by individual years, now it’s a 5 year range minimum.
-You were able to talk to THREE people on explore. Now it’s one.
-The number of profiles shown before you need XTRA to see more, has been reduced.
-Ads are actually out of control. Literally every two seconds I get an ad
-You aren’t doing anything about bots. At all.You are enshittifying your app for money. We all notice.

Affordable
Make it more afforable or maybe a way to complete tasks to upgrade you profile if even just temporary. Cause right now I don't make enough to upgrade but would absolutely love to to upgrade. I would even say maybe have some kind of picture contest and the winner get a free upgrade. Like I'm Transgender so maybe whoever posts a pic with fishnets and gets the most likes win .

Profile setup date
In every city, the grid is full of profiles set up an hour, a day or a week ago, often with malicious intentions. Other gay dating platforms such as Romeo show the day when the profile was set up (dd/mm/yyyy). Could you add an option to show when the profile was set up? It should be voluntary of course but the users should not be able to change it. It would help filter out the users that keep on setting up numerous profiles, with all the chat bots included. The blue inscription 'recently added' doesn't help because nobody knows what…
