Filter per safety practice
More and more users only practice BB, while others (like me) prefer using condoms.

Notifications do not work. Chats are unstable since the cloud transition. Search has been removed entirely. Ads are placed to force accidental taps. Popups open unsafe websites without interaction.
This app continues to decline because it holds a monopoly. If users had a viable alternative, Grindr would not survive a week.
Grindr is no longer a platform. It is a trap. It feeds off isolation, exploits its users for ad revenue, and delivers the bare minimum to keep itself running. The developers are not maintaining a community. They are running a slot machine with profile pictures.

They should create an album called "ID" in which the person who wants to submit to an identity verification uploads 1 to 3 photos where their face can be seen. And subsequently subjected to a facial biometrics similar to Tinder so that when they share photos from their other albums and we want to confirm the Identity of that person, they send their "ID" where they share the photos of the facial biometrics and the app certifies the identity of the person, each time they modify 1 of the 3 photos in the "ID" album, it will request the facial…

I keep having to hide profiles of same women with multiple profiles
I keep having to hide profiles with women with multiple women with the same photo on multiple profiles every day they fill up the grid there could be eighteen profiles of the same photo with the same woman do something about this grinder it's annoying grinder is getting bad with this

Introduce verification check
As many apps like Tinder, Bumble, ... use a verification tool such as taking a selfie, connect your phone by texting a code, ...
This will make it less accessible for scammers with fake profiles as Grindr currently is full of these profiles. I report about 10 on a daily base and it's clearly getting out of hand.
A blue check next to a username stating that profile is verified would go a long way.
You don't have to make it as a must to use the app cause I know you cheaters want to stay anonymous but for those…

All my notes in favorites are gone!
Optimal use for Favorites should be for every Grindr user, as it was before.
All my notes to my favorites (I put a lot of effort in) are gone. Hence the app is less functional and less safe. Unbelievable that Grindr did this.
You changed favorites and taps! And not for the better.
Really disappointing. Bring favorites and my notes back!

Stop taking features away and making them part of XTRA
You’ve taken away so many features and made them paid-for
-Age search used to have no minimum range. You could search by individual years, now it’s a 5 year range minimum.
-You were able to talk to THREE people on explore. Now it’s one.
-The number of profiles shown before you need XTRA to see more, has been reduced.
-Ads are actually out of control. Literally every two seconds I get an ad
-You aren’t doing anything about bots. At all.You are enshittifying your app for money. We all notice.

Affordable
Make it more afforable or maybe a way to complete tasks to upgrade you profile if even just temporary. Cause right now I don't make enough to upgrade but would absolutely love to to upgrade. I would even say maybe have some kind of picture contest and the winner get a free upgrade. Like I'm Transgender so maybe whoever posts a pic with fishnets and gets the most likes win .

Add a search bar to the inbox and make a deactivate
You should make a search bar from the inbox so that you can find messages easier, especially about all these fake people also you should ,are it so that you can deactivate your account instead of deleting it if people wanna take a break

Profile setup date
In every city, the grid is full of profiles set up an hour, a day or a week ago, often with malicious intentions. Other gay dating platforms such as Romeo show the day when the profile was set up (dd/mm/yyyy). Could you add an option to show when the profile was set up? It should be voluntary of course but the users should not be able to change it. It would help filter out the users that keep on setting up numerous profiles, with all the chat bots included.
