1. Identity Verification Feature

   I think it would very useful to implement a feature in order to verify the identity of a Grindr User in order to ensure that the profile photos are not fake. For example let's consider this scenario.
   1) I have some face pics on my Grindr profile.
   2) I want to have something on my profile who demonstrates that my face pics are not fake.
   3) I use some tool that asks me to open my camera and to put my face on a frame in order to record data of my face.
   4) This tool will use some images processing algorithms that controls if my face matches with my profile photos.
   5) If constraint #4 is not violated Grindr App will put on my profile some logo who demonstrates that my profile is verified.
   This functionality should be free, since data protection is a fundamental right.

3. Increase the # of profiles one can view without a subscription

   I'm the first to admit the economy has put a stranglehold on everyone. But to reduce the # of profiles one can see to 9, is a slap across the face to non-subscribers. I've always been appreciative for the service Grindr provides to the community. It's basically a safe space for the users. But putting the pinch on users does not make me want to suscribe, but instead is a turn off and reflects poorly on the company. At least return to the # of profiles one could see without being forced to become a subscriber is the correct thing to do. Without viewers, Grindr would not be as popular as it is.

5. Reinstate the free trial version on both extra and unli

   It’d be great to have the free trial version first in order for us to explore and maximuze all features the app has which helps us for our decision making, if indeed it’s worth a penny to subscribe to either Xtra or Unli. Otherwise, the app is just futile

16. Revamp tags

    Give people the option to hide their tags from people that don’t also have the same tag. Also, allow each user to pick unlimited tags.

    For example, if I pick 15 tags, maybe allow me to say which ones are always shown on my profile, and allow me to specify which tags are only visible to users who also chose that tag.

    Finally, give an option to clarify “im into this” tags vs “this describes me” tags. For example, if I pick “hung” am I saying I have a big dick, or that I like big dicks? Along the same lines, if I pick “daddy” am I saying I’m a daddy or that im looking for daddies? Give a way to separate between tags that describe you, and tags for things that you’re interested in.

    Maybe the tags that describe you could always be shown, while the interest based tags show up only when you have them in common.

People tend to save or screenshot other people photos with the intent to threaten, stock, harass, post derogatory comments attached to ones photo, and to share negative thoughts and feelings about a person to others in hopes of bringing the grinder community together for support to attack said person. Please it's a safety concern for people and it puts lives are in jeopardy
