3. Fix Banning System

   Called out a pretty obvious catfish for being a fake profile (but did not report them yet, which I now regret.) At this accusation, they got very upset and said that I was actually the catfish (I'm clearly not) and that they were reporting me as a fake profile. About 4 hours later, I tried to login and saw that I was banned. Was given no prior warning or opportunity to prove my identity in any way, which, as a paying customer, is completely ridiculous. The moderation team is a complete joke at this company and it's insane that I got booted off the platform as a real person, while this actual catfish is presumably still using the app and probably reporting anyone else who accuses them of being a fake. As a recently out person in a non-LGBT area this is devastating and extremely frustrating, and I feel like there's nothing I can do to resolve this. Fix your shitty app, Grindr!

6. No more “Fresh”

   The number of users that post a new profile pic on any given day is small. The result under Fresh is that 3 lines down I’m seeing profiles well over 100 miles away. Get rid of Fresh, it’s functionally pointless.

11. Show distance to tapped profiles

    I would like for people that I'm not interested in to not know my distance and when I tap someone, it would appear. That would at least make it a bit more safe in countries where lgbt discrimination is truly awful and hunter profiles exist

12. Hide/ignore messages from no pic profiles

    A "show me" option that makes your profile inaccessible to blank profiles with no pictures and barren bio. The amount of harassment, bigotry and plain creepiness from them is insane compared to others

    En muchos países latinos usuarios heterosexuales buscan vender drogas. Peor aún, amenazan a los gays que los reportan o no buscan comprar. Chile, mi país, es quizá el caso más delicado y extremo. Casi la mayoría de perfiles son de heterosexuales que incluso ahora buscan relaciones sexuales entre sí. De hecho, escriben expresamente que no buscan gays. ¿por qué los gays debemos desplazarnos por los heterosexuales en nuestra app? Es una app que originalmente era para hombres gays/bi... Ahora es una app de heteros que buscan drogas, sexo y servicios varios. Sé que el bloqueo es una posibilidad, pero el punto es que son demasiados. Por último facilitar una opción de bloquear varios perfiles a la vez... Aunque sigo pensando que la mejor opción es que Grindr bloqueé y de baja aquellos perfiles por dirección de IP para que no puedan volver a la app con una cuenta nueva. Aunque uno los reporte o los bloquee se siguen creando cuentas nuevas para seguir buscando sexo o vender drogas.
