need FULL control over ALL chat sounds (sent and refresh)
We can change and turn off SOME sounds like new chats, but can't change or individually silence the chat refresh sound or the annoying sound when every message is sent?
Really needs expanded to allow full control of every sound that Grindr makes. turn on or off any of them, customize any of them to be a new sound. it's a very "all or nothing" approach now that leads to missed messages.15 votes -

DEVELOP A CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT PROVIDES CUSTOMER SERVICE
My account gets banned and NO ONE can tell me why. The worthless customer service idiots simply continue to ask me for information that i simply do not have. I have provided all they asked for yet they say I am missing information and refuse to assist! THIS IS GODAM BULL$HIT. IT is so f'ing lazy that they can't read through the pages of info and the back and forth to figure out they have made a mistake.

Arbitrary ban
I have never ever violated Grindr's community guidelines or terms of service. It was a shock when my account was banned two weeks ago.
On appeal, I was told there was reason to believe I was underage (I am turning 37 next month). So, as requested, I emailed my face picture with my account details and national ID to Grindr.
The response was to close my account altogether, and "for privacy and safety reasons, we cannot provide any more specifics about why your account was closed" and "this decision is final".

Tap timescale
Why have taps been limited to 3hrs.
Literally just getting less and less accessible to meet anyone on this app at all as by the time I get an opportunity to log in everything is blurred out. Sort it out so it’s more accessible again. Paying extra is not an option and I cannot afford to pay for the app2 votes -

So far only monthly payment is available. There is no chance of special 3-, 6- and/or 12-months payment special offer discounts. In addition, monthly pricing is extremely high. Could you please regulate this situation and giving more opportunities of payment special offers?
