LANDSCAPE
Landscape mode - can't use a keyboard without the app rotating into landscape. And this is a chat app, the keyboard makes a difference in user satisfaction. I had to connect from my mac to be able to use one. Having an Ipad Pro with the smart cover (that includes a keyboard and trackpad),

Allow users to re-crop thumbnails for approved profile images more easily w/o having to delete & re-submit the img
The app needs a feature to allow users to easily adjust profile image thumbnails if we are not pleased with how we cropped the thumbnail when we submitted the photo initially. The UX should be as simple as this:
1. Tap THUMBNAIL PREVIEW to open the cropping tool.
2. Pinch/drag to adjust.
3. Save & return to Edit Photos screen.In current state, the user has to delete the picture and then go through the entire submission & approval process again. Then the user must re-order their photos after the pic is approved. This multi-step process wastes time for the…

Volvieron a quitar funciones
Quitaron OTRA VEZ, el poder ver 1 o 3 en basico o extra, a quien te ha visto y no se puede bloquear, o ver su info. Redujeron el numero de perfiles nuevos que se pueden ver. Antes era extra y por eso deje pagar. Ademas sus adds son largos y tienes que tocar 3 veces y esperar demasiado para regresar al app.

I’m always trying to support lgbtq service providers (accountants, plumbers, real estate, landscaping, etc) and Grindr is such a ubiquitous app, I’d guess that there is a huge opportunity to use the platform to help connect gay customers with gay service providers.

Local business owners
Local business owners could pay a premium fee and receive a special icon and thus be able to promote their businesses on here many other apps do it I don't know why it's not allowed on here and plus an ad for something local is a lot easier to swallow than social media and video game ads that you guys are currently running

Lesbians now on Grindr? WTH
🌈 And just when I thought the TS, Cis women and heterosexual homophobic men were getting out of hand on Grindr and now they added a lesbian tag and gender.
If you go to edit tap on your profiles, you will see the option of lesbians. I’m trying to add a screenshot here, but it’s not allowing me.
The moderators and Admins of Grindr, don’t even give an F about this form and ideas you will see the last time a moderator commented and gave feedback on this website was three years ago.

I would like to know the read status without clicking on the message. A small R for read / D for delivered / S for sent / O for opened underneath the minutes would be perfect.

better category options
More category and filter refinement for better matches… younger 4 older, older 4 younger, younger for daddy, age preferences besides the slider control... like “close in age”, etc. I also miss the ethnic filter even though it’s not very pc. It'd be nice to know initially and a lot less frustrating not to have to sift through all the profiles (when somebody actually does bother to write one), only to find that chances are pretty low the perspective person would even respond. thanks

Make the "X" bigger to close out of ads.
The fucking "X" to close out of the ads. PLEASE make it bigger. I click into the ad EVERYTIME and it almost deturs me from opening the app.

Pictures not showing
For some users or subscribers however, you want to put it pictures are not being able to be seen. For example. if I have multiple pictures, I mean I’m supposed to be able to see what I am sending to people for some users. This is so.
Also, I am supposed to be able to see already sent pictures for an example of another user or subscriber send me a picture I am supposed to be able to see it tomorrow.
If for some reason, the people who decide what is what have taken the pictures off the subscriber, or…

Stop patonising LGBTQ+ from the middle east
I use Grindr in and out of my country and it feels like i can not properly access the people in my country due to grindr blocking people in the explore page. The gay community in the middle east highly depend on apps like this to create a community, Yet "safty warnings" pop out every time you try to access and the app becomes completely useless. The older versions allowed us to talk to people all around the world but it seems like if you're not a "progressive" country we'll be a nanny state for you

"Hide profile from"
A filter/option to hide your profile from anyone you're not interested in. So if you don't want to be contacted by profiles over or under certain ages, without a picture or matching criteria of your choosing, then your profile won't be visible to them and they won't be visible to you. This will save time, effort and the frustration of rejections.
