LANDSCAPE
Landscape mode - can't use a keyboard without the app rotating into landscape. And this is a chat app, the keyboard makes a difference in user satisfaction. I had to connect from my mac to be able to use one. Having an Ipad Pro with the smart cover (that includes a keyboard and trackpad),

Creo que su algoritmo es muy cerrado a mas opciones, en i caso, me gustan las personas de complexión fisica grande, gorditos y en mi perfil los resultados son de personas iguales a mi, da una mala imagen de la aplicacion, emparejando personas de un mismo fisico

Much of what is problematic on Grindr has to do with user attitudes and their distasteful behaviors. The app can only do so much
So much of the frustrations felt within the app come from unpleasant interactions. The ability to present yourself as someone else, collect pics and block, make demands and behave entitled to personal information from people you’ve never met and then block after a nasty comment and lastly the lack of respect for online etiquette and for the private lives of those you engage with causes many to have to take long breaks as to not be overwhelmed. Clearer message state indicator
As a user
When I'm viewing messages in a thread
I want the the message state indicator "Sent", "Delivered" and "Read" to be much clearer
so that it's easier to differentiate between the words "Sent" and "Read" as they have the same number of characters/word shape.I would love for something like "3 checkmarks" (like WhatsApp) to be implemented.
Maybe have a coloured symbol alongside the text so it's much clearer.

More is more...but not always. Most of us don't like wasting time and swimming through murky waters. Many people are having difficulty finding their type because apparently it's not financially in the favor or Grindr (and similar apps) to let us know how few matches we really have. Not only should the race filter come back, add as many filters as possible so we can get to the handful of APPROPRIATE matches. I WILL GLADLY PAY. Please incorporate something that detects AI. I’d like to know that I’m not chatting with a scammer that’s just copy and pasting my answers into chat GPT. Also, It’d be really nice if you stopped all these VPNs… there’s no reason for somebody to have an account in five different states because they’re trying to market themselves on their social media platform. Bring back the previous age selection mechanism
Please bring back the previous age range selection interface. The new scroll bar requires more dexterity and precision, I want to set the min and max age from a number selector as I used to be able to do.

Too many females and trannies on site!
This isn’t to bash anyone or discriminate against any gender or gender identity, but this used to be an app where gays could come to meet, hookup, chat, etc. But now with trans and CD’s making profiles on a site that wasn’t created for them, they’re taking away from the grid space that gays would otherwise have to interact. I also don’t believe that straight guys should be allowed to make profiles on grindr because I honestly believe that half of those profiles are fake and used to extract personal information from the gays that attempt to interact with them.…

water compensation
I live by a lake, and the mapping does not compensate for the lake being there, so when it says they are three miles away they are actually 12 because there is a lake you have to go around....

Sell subscription gift certificates
During holidays sell GRindr yearly gift certificates, this way it does not interfere with your current account and the gifted recipient can use it to purchase Grindr membership. Everyone is happy and it’s a very good source of additional income for the Grindr franchise.

Option to disable album sharing for all users at once
I have shared my album to so many users and if I want to stop sharing I have to click on each user's checkbox individually and then click on Stop Sharing.
Please have option to remove album sharing to all users at once.
