Make Grindr more LTR oriented
Set new or different buttons to make Grindr more relationship oriented.
For example
•Instead of a flame tap, a coffee/wine symbol.
•Expand the amount of words to use in the description.
•Help create a less toxic environment by providing mental health content.
Especially about ghosting! Create a not interested button or response.
•Remove the online offline function or make it more accurate so people don’t feel like they are being ignored.
•Set up filters for chats for example: only sex or serious dating.
•Provide more non sexual tags so someone can also use grindr to find a serious boyfriend.

5 CLICKS to close ads and unmuted ads
you want to ruin the experience by popping ads every 5 seconds, fine. But having to click 5 times the "x", ">>" "->" to go back to the app, especially when the buttons are 2x2 pixels big, is absolutely frustrating. at that point I forgot who I was talking to.
Also some people need to keep this app private. personally I keep my phone in vibrate mode and only open the app in discreet places. there are ads that just start playing sound even on vibrate mode WITHOUT a mute button. this is a major problem for people who want…7 votes -

“Airplane move or explore mode” Takes us directly at that spot or city and make us visible in that area. Not just explore profiles.

Keet “draft” of message
Do not erase the message when exits from that chat going back to chat list. Let the message written before sending like a draft until get reopen or get back in that chat to keep writing or send without need to write all over again.
Clear the message in drafts only when the user close the app for example2 votes -
Option to limit distance of who can see you
Creat an a parameter in settings, make a possibility to let the user set a limit in a distance that the others can see that own profile, when in a “online mode”.

Repondre aux gens quand on bloque les profils
J’ai mon compte depuis des années et j’ai été bloqué depuis un mois. Je n’ai pas de réponse. Je ne sais même pas pourquoi je n’ai rien commis illégal ou rien qui ne respecte pas les règles. Grindr et cependant je ne peux plus l’utiliser. J’ai trois voisins qui m’harcelaient, je les ai gentillement envoyés bouler et je suis soudainement bloqué avec interdiction totale de même pouvoir recréer un compte

Fewer Better Targeted Ads
The intersticals are WAY too frequent. The create a very negative UX. Three times I have deleted the two ads from my inbox, only to see them return next I check my messages, and not once have you served me an ad for a product I might in which I might be interested. Paid fast track pic approval with feedback
Pic approvals are so hit and miss. Feedback would be great. Why did it get declined. Your guidelines say if it can't go on insta it can't go here but I've had insta pics declined on grindr. Upload again and it's declined, upload again it's approved. I'd pay to know why it was declined. Update to this.... You must have a team of nuns approving pics and mine is goingb to that team cause I've had a pic declined that has zeo nudity and a big ass sticker over my junk. I jave had racier pics approved. Todo agressor verbal a outro usuário deveria receber uma mensagem dizendo pra pedir desculpas ao usuário agredido,sendo que ele tenha somente contato com tal para pedir desculpas,quanto aos outros usuários esteja bloqueado,após pedir desculpas,o agressor seja bloqueado definitivamente,assim ele tomará consciência dos seus atos .
