Stop the Discrimination Against Black Bodies
On Grindr, I often come across profiles of white men who are nude or visibly showing their bulge. However, I’ve noticed that whenever I try to upload a photo to my own profile, it takes significantly longer to be approved—and in some cases, even fully clothed photos of me are flagged as inappropriate.
This raises serious concerns: Is this happening because I’m Black, or because my body doesn’t align with the app’s narrow standards of what is deemed acceptable? (For context, I am not morbidly obese.)

Grindr facilitates discrimination of plus size men.
It’s no secret that plus-size men on Grindr have faced serious harassment, neglect, and verbal abuse. This kind of treatment can severely damage a person’s self-esteem and, in some cases, has even contributed to suicide—particularly among young men seeking a safe and affirming space.
As the leading gay dating app, Grindr has a responsibility to make it easier for users to connect with people who appreciate and are attracted to their body type. Removing Racial Filters on Grindr is Implicitly Discriminatory
I’m a Black man living in a predominantly white area, where most men on dating apps seem to exclusively prefer white partners. As a result, when I list my ethnicity on Grindr, I receive very few—if any—messages. This creates an environment where Black profiles are consistently overlooked and ignored.

Scam accounts using profile text & socials to try fish for victims.
All scam accounts ask you to contact them on their socials in their profile text. So make it against the rules to ask people to contact you outside of Grindr on socials etc. in your profile text. All the scam accounts do this and with this rule change it would be much easier to report them.

Guestbook
I think it would be a good idea if each member can have a private guestbook where their partners could leave a message. The members who own the guestbook can share if they want. Like a photo album. The members who leave comments stay private. It could be a way to feel safer and know more about the person.

Coding for distance is jacked up in Hawaii
I live in area code 96720, which is on the Big Island of Hawaii.
The app should display profiles located closest to me first, followed by those farther and farther away. Instead, it'll show the first couple of profiles closest to my location, then it'll populate a profile that's 200+ miles away, in Oahu, followed by the next closest profiles in my location, then it'll throw in another one or two profiles 200 miles away.
e.g.
Profile 1 - 1 mile away
Profile 2 - 1.2 miles away
Profile 3 - 206 miles away

Group select hide profiles
It's a pain hiding individual profiles. It would be better if I could group select all the profiles on my screen that I'm not interested in, and then hide them all at the same time.

256 character is a very small length for a profile

Messages
Whenever I send a message, it doesn’t get sent, and it keeps showing "connecting." My internet speed is fine, and all other apps are working properly except for the Grindr app.
When I refresh, the app doesn’t refresh, and I don’t receive messages instantly.
Why is the app running so slow for me? Please fix this issue, as I have been facing it for the past three days.

Stop ads for non subscribers
None subscribers can't use the app properly. I am thinking to delete my account, those ads are impacting the user experience with the app.
