Notice of deleted conversations
It would be nice if a party I’ve been talking to his deleted our conversation. That would help me more quickly understand that they are not interested in talking further.

You can not let people just fuck with people and get away with it. If they invite someone over and that person shows up then they are obligated to AT LEAST explain, admit and apologize. I have been blocked and called the creep for blowing her up because that's fucked up. Just want an apology. Someone doing this on a constant basis should be banned

Remove 'found you via [tag]'
The 'found you via [tag]' notification isn't necessary. If someone is looking for someone who might be a match with something specific, it gives that away straight away. Better to let someone explain or describe what they're into rather than divulge it upfront just for using a filter/search feature.

Allow users to re-crop thumbnails for approved profile images more easily w/o having to delete & re-submit the img
The app needs a feature to allow users to easily adjust profile image thumbnails if we are not pleased with how we cropped the thumbnail when we submitted the photo initially. The UX should be as simple as this:
1. Tap THUMBNAIL PREVIEW to open the cropping tool.
2. Pinch/drag to adjust.
3. Save & return to Edit Photos screen.In current state, the user has to delete the picture and then go through the entire submission & approval process again. Then the user must re-order their photos after the pic is approved. This multi-step process wastes time for the…

More Filters
Need more filter to sort through profiles. Allowing users to sort by Race/Gender/MTF or FTM/Combination will help to not see profiles who are trans.

Popup check most toggled options are correct, e.g. hosting or not
As a traveler I'm not always at home or I am in a hurry to get somewhere and settle in, I don't got time to think about an app setting.
So I login, and often miscommunication
Due to me forgetting to change all my show and do not show toggle options
Or change if I can Host or not Host. So like a travel reminder.

Toggle application sound options on and off

Location accuracy
So…we should be able to set a distance on how far we’re looking for hookups. I search in the “explore” section in an area 5 miles from my house and Grindr constantly insists that profiles 100-500 miles away is “nearby”. If I search for profiles in Austin, TX it doesn’t make sense to show me profiles from Dallas, TX. That’s NOT nearby. That’s a 3-4 hour difference. Location accuracy NEEDS to be updated.

Adding notes to blocked profiles
Allowing the adding of notes to blocked profiles would provide feelings of safety and comfort on the app, as one wouldn't then unblock someone they don't want to interact with again for wherever personal reason.

banning people
It’s wrong that a lot of my friends and I have noticed you don’t actually investigate when people we may not even interact with even can just make a profile up and complain about someone falsely and have them banned without Grindr staff even investigating the claim. We have folllwed all rules and regulations but in this world people may feel rejected for simply then not being your type and are vindictive people who are insecure taking it to that extreme knowing you will ban them for good.
